Everything was excellent!

We had such a lovely relaxing time over New Years. It was a wonderful way to start the new year with a mother/daughter getaway at the Flying Cloud cottage, just what we needed.We particularly appreciated the special, thoughtful touches by Diane. There was a nice selection of sweetbreads and jam for our enjoyment, but , in particular, we were so touched by the bottle of champagne and two glasses she left styled and chilling in the fridge for us to bring in the new year.We will hopefully be back soon.Thank you again Diane.Jacquie and Alison

Flying Cloud was just what my husband and I needed after a busy time with family. The charming rooms and well treed setting steps from Lake Ontario offered the peace and beauty we needed. Proximity to great restaurants and shops down the road added to our time. Clean and cozy with a warming fire, we were immediately at ease upon arrival. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need and includes a rather delicious welcoming basket and message from a very attentive host. The bed was most comfortable and the linens immaculate. We intend to return.

The Flying Cloud is a wonderful place to stay, fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area with fireplace, comfortable bed and nice full bathroom with a tub big enough to soak in and that's just indoors. There is also lots of comfy outdoor seating as well. Diane is a very friendly and considerate host.

The cottage was lovely - so well located on a quiet street in an amazing neighborhood, just a two minute walk to the lakeshore. Morning coffee sitting on the front porch was a great start to each day. Beautiful backyard, clean spaces, nice kitchen and bathroom…and a comfy bed - it was a wonderful four days we spent at the Flying Cloud. Thank-you.

I don't want to say too much about this property because I want to be able to rent it again.

The Flying Cottage is exactly like the pictures. Diane is the perfect hostess. The neighborhood is like living in a fairytale. I guarantee you will be saying these descriptions in your review. Book it and Enjoy it!

A very cute and well equipped home in a great neighborhood. We love the place. Diane is very helpful. Close to Lake Ontario and downtown NOTL. Very private and totally fenced in back yard. Comfortable beds! !

This was our first time staying at “The Flying Cloud” and NOTL and we had a fabulous time! This cozy cottage was the perfect “40th Anniversary Retreat”! Diane made us feel so welcome and we truly appreciated all the special touches that were set up for our arrival. Diane was so friendly, caring, attentive and accommodating. She was always available and helpful with any questions we had. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated, comfortable and super cozy. It truly was a peaceful, serene, relaxing and romantic oasis! We enjoyed many long walks along Lake Ontario (the sunsets were spectacular) and walks to the golf course and to town through the beautiful neighbourhood. We enjoyed sitting in the lovely, quiet backyard after a day of exploring beautiful NOTL (shops, winery, shows, etc.). Diane’s kind hospitality was truly exceptional! We had an amazing time with so many treasured memories. The Flying Cloud is an absolute “gem” and we look forward to returning someday! We highly recommend “The Flying Cloud”.

We had a lovely stay at the Flying Cloud. This cozy cottage served as a warm and inviting home base for a week long stay during our first visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The cottage is comfortably decorated and filled with personal touches. We especially loved spending time on the back porch listening to the birds and watching the squirrels play in the back yard. On rainy days we spent time on the enclosed front porch watching the clouds over the lake and reading. Chilly evenings were spent by the fire in the living room. The beds were quite comfortable and the space, including the thoughtfully designed bathroom, was just perfect for the two of us. Diane was an excellent host, adding special touches such as fresh flowers and a chilled bottle of local wine. Such a beautiful trip!

Diane was fabulous! She was always communicating with us when we needed it. She left us a birthday surprise from local bakery. Cottage is warm, cozy and we didn't want for anything extra. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Flying Cloud. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and cozy, and has a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room which kept the room warm and inviting. Diane, our host, was very helpful, she suggested places to eat and wineries to visit. We will certainly be returning for another visit!

Such a quaint, comfortable cottage within walking distance to Lake Ontario and close to historic Niagra-on-the-Lake. We enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed.

My husband and I stayed at the Flying Cloud in mid-summer, and enjoyed this charming cottage and its location. The town is fun to explore with many shops and restaurants, as well as scenic vineyards to tour nearby. Diane was very responsive. We would definitely recommend!

The property was in close proximity to the village of Niagara on the Lake as well as easy to get to other areas. The cottage was perfect. Comfortable and clean and the hostess was fantastic in responding to any questions we had. We plan on staying there again when we get the chance.

Diane goes above and beyond to insure you have a wonderful stay at Flying Cloud. This is our third time staying here and we would do it again in a heartbeat. The location is exceptional, just steps from the Lake and the most beautiful sunsets. It felt like coming home for us. Thank you Diane!
