The Evan Cottage - Unplugged, quaint, island living!

We really enjoyed our stay at Evan's Cottage. It has everything you need and is in a good central location. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location and privacy in this cottage in the woods. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the diversity of nature. It was so peaceful without cars and golf carts were a fun way to see the island. Very limited grocery shopping, so be prepared to eat out or bring supplies. We will definitely be back to this magical paradise.

We stayed just two nights. We didn’t cook or do laundry. When we visit the Island again, we would definitely stay at this location again and bring groceries to cook out. Being our first time on the Island we decided to support local places for dining.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Evan’s Cottage on School Rd. It was just enough space and nicely furnished. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. I greatly appreciated the washer and dryer. We took our morning coffee on the front porch in the cool. Perfect stop for couples! We will stay again. Highly recommended.

The Evan Cottage was everything we needed it to be. It was very affordable and on the center of the island, which was great. The front porch was my favorite place to spend time under the ceiling fan, staying cool while enjoying the nature of the island.

My wife and I had a good time during an anniversary stay at the Evans Cottage. It was well stocked and located amongst a few other homes on a dirt road on Daufuskie Island. It was small, but roomy enough for the 2 of us. We easily travelled around the island with a golf cart. The kitchen was good for preparing some meals in house. The decor was adequate with a few items left undone like an empty light fixture in the main living space. The manager was very response and kept us up to date on an unforeseen change the day of check-in.

Second time here, lotta bang for the buck.

This was our second time staying at the Evan Cottage and it was yet again perfect for our little family of 4. It is the coziest little home away from home and we can’t recommend it enough! Listing is very accurate, and although we didn’t have to reach out to the owners beforehand or while there, we know it would’ve been easy to get ahold of them if needed. Overall, very pleased with our experience yet again!

I was looking to decompress. Even though there were houses next door and across the street, the Evan Cottage on Daufuskie Island was quiet and a perfect place for me to do just that. I plan to go back.

What a nice little place for enjoying all that Daufuskie Island has to offer. Very clean and located in the middle of the island. Close to everything! Would definitely stay again.
