The Emerald Cottage - renovated 1950s beach cottage one block to beach ,hot tub

We had a wonderful time at this cottage! It was the perfect size for the four of us and our two dachshunds. I will never forget this trip since it is the first time our dogs have gone on vacation with us and the first time they have ever seen the ocean. The location of the cottage is ideal since you can walk to the beach in a few minutes and you can hear the waves crashing from the house, especially in the evening. The beds were very comfortable. The extra touches and decorations inside the house were so charming and made you feel like you are at the beach. The communication with Stacy, the host, was top notch. She always responded to any questions that I had and was very pleasant and helpful. You will not be disappointed if you book this cottage. The hot tub was an extra bonus. I also loved the fact that there is a walking/biking path in front of the house, which was perfect for my early morning runs and was also great to walk our dogs and ride bikes that were also provided. Thank you so much, Stacy for making our stay in Emerald Isle one that we will never forget!

The host provided absolutely everything you could ever need! The house is so adorable, and the interior design is outstanding.

Great cottage

We loved this cottage! It was so clean, well put together, and the beach access was perfect. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone. Stacy communicated with us early and often. We always knew exactly what was going on prior to check in and she made the check out process very easy as well.

Great location. Very quick walk to public access to get to the beach. Living area was very comfortable. The overall space is very quaint and the decor is charming but felt tight for only two people and two dogs. Yard is in need of some maintenance. Kitchen has a really small fridge and stove is more suitable for an RV.

My family had a wonderful stay at this quaint boho cottage. The location and decor were as listed. We loved the private location. You can’t see the ocean from the property but you can hear it and the secludedness of it made it special. The area is safe and walk to the beach was easy. All of the necessities were as listed. I highly recommended staying at the Emerald Cottage. The hostess was informative with details and responsive. We would love to return again.

Perfect getaway from the city. Cute cottage, slept like a princess there, enjoyed the hot tub and although on Emerald Isle I felt like I was in the country with all the vegetation.

Great sunsets in short driving distance.Hot tub, Fire Pit, so cutely decorated in beach themes. Felt right at home from the moment we walked through the front door.

The cottage was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. We loved the privacy of the yard and enjoyed the hot tub and little backyard beach. We felt right at home and hope to be back!!

Super cute place, just the right size for us. Easy access to the beach and the wagon, cooler, beach chairs & umbrella were very convenient. Emerald Isle is a beautiful area with big beach. Good restaurants nearby. We loved our stay.

My family travels to the area fairly often and we do enjoyed our time in this cozy home; it’s very close to public beach access for walking and otherwise close to the beach-y visitor attractions :) The house itself is adorable, cozy, and enjoyable to stay in. Communication was great, too!

I enjoyed my stay at this darling beach home. It’s so quaint and has every you need. Decor was done so nicely! Beach supplies available and fire pit in the yard looked great but rainy days made it difficult for me to use. Walk to beach in less than 5 min. Great area to bike and take long walks. I would love to return!!

This was a beautiful cottage with a short walk to the beach. The place was very clean loaded with amenities. I would consider this place for future visits.

We had a great stay at the cottage with our three children and dogs. There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. I loved that the shed had all the beach essentials: wagon, chairs, beach umbrella so I didn't need to buy and hall those items with us :)
