Very clean and fully equipped

Had a wonderful stay at the Eliza Mae cottage. Perfect for a quiet getaway weekend, and really close to the Renaissance Faire!

The host was very responsive & excellent to deal with. The home was clean, but since our stay was early Oct, I am not sure when the last renters were there and how long it had been closed up without being aired out. There was a musty smell and a few family members starting having sinus reactions before we left. The community was cute and the front porch was fun to hang out on. Inside was very dark due to wood paneling and the community being surrounded by huge trees. The kids loved the little fish pond and games at the home.

This cottage was perfect, very clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the front porch.

The cottage was even more adorable than the pictures led us to believe, Marianne was an amazing and communicative host and the check in and out process was smooth. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This Gretna cottage is one of those rare finds with parking, the porch always exceeds our expectations, and the host is exceptionally easy to communicate with. This was our second experience at the Eliza Mae and we look forward to a return stay.

We stay at Eliza Mae Cottage every summer. We are a group of friends that have been friends since our college days 1968-1972. The cottage is really special and the gardens are beautiful! Marianne is a very responsive hostess and makes sure her guests are comfortable . There are fresh flowers in the cottage, a well stocked kitchen and a beautiful comfy big porch where we spend many hours. I highly recommend Eliza Mae Cottage.

Wonderful place to stay! Accommodations are great with everything you could need or want. Easy check in and check out. This was our second year staying here and we really enjoy the place. Great location as well.

Our family had an amazing time in Mount Gretna at the Eliza Maye. The host checked in with us not only leading up to our stay but, once she learned we had never been to PA, after we got there to tell us of some local places like The Jigger Shop to check out. (The sundaes at The Jigger Shop are fabulous!). The front porch was one of our favorite spots to hang out especially when it was raining. It’s huge with tons of comfortable seating. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at the Eliza Mae as always. Marianne is a gracious hostess and the cottage is always clean and comfortable. We love the front porch and spend most of our time there. I would recommend the Eliza Mae for a relaxing stay.

This year our stay at The Eliza Mae coincided with an intense heat wave. But true to the history of Mount Gretna, it was @ 8 degrees cooler there than in town. The porch fans and AC inside made it possible to still enjoy our stay. We had our traditional Ladies’ Night on the porch, as well as had several friends and relatives stop by during the week to enjoy the beauty and comfort of that spectacular front porch! Thanks Marianne for allowing us to enjoy your cottage. Can’t wait til next year… will be our 5th!

Planned a trip to Hershey for friends and family to get together. Easy 25 minute ride to the house, cottage was cute and exactly as described. Kids loved the ice cream place around the corner. Wish we stayed longer so we could have checked out the lake area nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed here and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. We played games on the front porch, we ate dinner at the table together, and enjoyed walking to the jigger shop for our evening dessert. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again soon.

We come from around the country to meet once a year. We find the Eliza Mae a great place to wind down and enjoy each other’s company. The cottage is well stocked with bedding, and the kitchen has all you need for cooking.

The cottage was as pictured and fit our needs for the weekend and Marianne was very communicative and helpful. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the house, as we were in town for a friend's wedding, but we enjoyed the porch and back yard and the location was perfect. Being an old house, the floors are a bit slanted and the bed we slept on wasn't quite level, but it did not affect our sleep. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed well stocked.

This was our second time staying at the Eliza Mae. Once again, Marianne was an excellent hostess. All questions were answered promptly. The cottage was extremely clean and the fall decor was charming. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked. Our favorite park is the front porch and we spent many hours there relaxing and bonding with each other. We look forward to returning to Mt Gretna next year.

Beautiful cottage...room for all & still have some privacy. Very quiet neighborhood...we were probably the loud, rowdy ones. Owners were great w/information & readily accessible if needed.

We love staying at Eliza Mae Cottage in Mt Gretna. It is a quaint , well kept house with a lovely outdoors area that has fish pond in a beautiful setting of plants and flowers. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are very comfy and cozy. The porch is big and comfortable and a great place to sit and relax, read a book or have great conversations.

The cottage and owner are excellent!! Everything is there that you will need. Just walk in and get your stress-free relaxing vacation

The cottage was peaceful and relaxing. It was close to numerous attractions and was a great spot to come back to after a busy day. The kids loved the fairy garden and pond.

Great trip. House is very nice and clean. Host is on top of everything. Beds were perfect, window air conditioning was fine, bathroom shower and tub were perfect. Wi-if worked great.

My family and I have been coming to Gretna since before I can remember! We’ve stayed in dozens of cottages and this one was one of our favorites! We loved it so much we already plan on staying there again next summer. Thank you Marianne for such a lovely stay!!

Marianne, thank you for opening your piece of heaven on earth to our family! We cannot express enough how wonderful our stay at Eliza May was this year!! We had the best time relaxing on the fantastic big porch. The evenings within this extraordinary community was like a step back through time. Between the neighbors and their amazing homes, it was magical, and we loved exploring. The house is immaculate and clean. Host Marianne has the gift of hosting. The bedding is beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. The house was perfect to cook a meal and eat together Just far enough away from everything to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country yet close enough to drive into the city to enjoy all the amenities. This is our second year here and we would not hesitate to book this home again! I would come back again and again. Marianne was awesome to communicate with. I wish we had more time.
