Stayed Sep 11, 2025This is a fabulous location in Rockwood, and the house is perfect for two people. Everything was clean, and the host was helpful with answering an inquiry I had about boat rentals & dock size. The location on the mouth of the Moose River is stellar. I’ve stayed in many places on Moosehead Lake and this is easily the best.

Stayed Sep 4, 2024Sweet new cabin on the river - very close proximity to Moosehead Lake. Dock for boating to Mt Kineo for golfing and hike. Clean with everything one needs for a peaceful vaca. Enjoyed watching boats pass by and the occasional seaplane overhead. Although not remote, it was a quiet site. ✔️✔️✔️ we recommend ? landing!

Stayed Jul 16, 2023Great little house in a perfect location for fun on the lake! We really enjoyed having our coffee by the water every morning and watching the eagles nearby. We rented a boat as well, and docked it right at the house everyday. We spent almost all our time outside hiking and boating, but this was the perfect place to rest each evening. Bed was comfortable, kitchen well appointed, and had everything we needed. Everything is literally brand new and so well done. The owner was so friendly and we really appreciated the hospitality we received!
