Positioned in sought after Rose Avenue, Cowes, we are welcoming small families or groups to our relaxed cottage, just 100 m from the beach.
We have recently finished the second part of our renovation and hope that you enjoy the changes to our bedrooms and bathroom.

Spend lazy summer days by the beach in oneof the best locations on Phillip Island.
Close enough to enjoy a stroll along the foreshore into Cowes or just spend your days on the beach enjoying the views across the water to French Island and beyond.
In winter, relax by the fire, warm up after you spend hours exploring the Island during the day, and from June on, maybe catch a sight of Whales passing along the coast.
Enjoy chasing Aurora Australis along our south facing coast, a sight not to be missed!

Situated within a native garden setting, our cottage gives you easy access to the beautiful, child friendly north facing beaches of Cowes.
The Cottage features a small undercover entertaining area facing north. We supply a BBQ and outdoor table setting for your convenience.
Entering the house, you are stepping into the Kitchen/Dining Room and next to this the living room. Please note that there is a wood heater in this area (we do supply wood for your stay in winter)
When Phillip Island weather is not at its best, choose a DVD from our collection and watch a movie with every one, or find your special spot in the Cottage, put your feed up and read one of the many books we provide. Get together around the table and try to finish one of the many puzzles.

For your convenience:

All bedrooms have extra blankets, another set of doona and a panel heater each room
All bedrooms have a ceiling fan and now built in wardrobes


IMPORTANT, change to the supply of Linen for new bookings for 2025

For every booking we will provide bedlinen just for the king bed, as well as 1 towel per guest, 1 hand towel and 1 face washer, bathmat and tea towels.

For the other beds, the following will be provided for new bookings after January 1, 2025
Covered Doona's (Quilts), uncovered pillows, blankets for the queen bed and the single beds.

For the Queen and 2 Single beds, you are required to bring your own fitted and flat sheets; pillow covers and towels.

If you would like the optional linen for the queen and single beds included in your booking, please let us know at your earliest convenience, including which bed you would like it provided for. The additional cost will be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we would prefer a 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get the linen arranged.

DOGS:
Well behaved dogs are welcome, maximum 2 dogs. Don’t forget to pick up your dog’s poo. The property is fenced. But pls note that we do not guaranty that your dog cannot get out. If your dog digs or jumps, it might be able to escape. Absolutely no dogs on the furniture, especially on the beds. If your dog sheds a lot of hair, we kindly ask you to sweep/vacuum any excess as our cleaner will charge extra if more time is needed to clean additional hair of the floor. If they find hair on linen or blankets, we will incur an extra charge of up to $200 for the cleaning of bed linen.

With the beach, Cowes shops, cafés, football ground, golf course, gymnasium and tennis courts all within walking distance of this classic beach cottage, it will remind you of holidays of the past.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.
STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES OR GROUPS UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE. (With the exception of children accompanied by parents).
All guest cars MUST be parked on the property. New Bass Coast By-Laws do not allow additional parking on the road.

Absolutely no smoking inside

Please note: If booking weeks/months in advance payment is required when initial booking is made. If this option is not suitable then a deposit is required and in peak times is non refundable if you decide to cancel and that time cannot be rebooked.
We also require a bond in some cases which is fully refundable after your stay.
Weekend and Long weekend stays may have a later checkout but must be confirmed by us. Standard checkout is 10am.

Note: Pricing is subject to change, and a minimum stay period and other conditions may apply. You should confirm pricing with the property owner. Bookings paid through the Stayz/HomeAway online payment system incur a surcharge.

.** Cancellation and Changes due to Covid Lockdown**

If your stay is affected by a Government regulated Lockdown (The person booking the stay) we will work with you to find a solution to reschedule or cancel your booking (with a full refund), even if it falls within the 7 days before your stay .This is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. Please stay in contact if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions and so on.
