Tale of the trout cabin located 1 mile from the trout stream and Lake

Overall our stay was good. It was quite cold inside especially in the bathroom because there was only one AC/heating unit. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. The place was clean and well furnished and was a good place to stay if you only needed it for one or two nights.

What a wonderful property. So close to Lake Broken Bow and trout fishing. Clean, comfortable cabin located in the deep woods, beautiful view of the woods. Thank you for such a wonderful property.

Spotless and secluded. A great cabin for a getaway weekend.

It was easy to find and situated in a nicely natured setting. Although it is right next to another cabin, the fences and doors make it unnoticeable. The amenities were great along with the fire pit and charcoal grill in the backyard. There were plenty of fire wood they allowed us to use too! A number of friendly dogs came by to say hi while we were in the backyard. The hot tub was nice but it seemed like the water was a bit dirty as we saw a bit of oil on the surface and cloudiness of water. Overall, a great, comforting stay thanks to the tale of the trout cabin!

The property was fun and whimsical and loved the outdoor patio and grill area. Didn't need anything as we were blessed with coffee and provided with all you would need to cook. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the fireplace was nice as well as the sofa and bed comfy comfortable. The walk to the door was a little bit of a challenge with these old knees but we were fine. Would stay again!

This place was perfect. So close to everything but so quiet it felt like we were secluded. The bed is comfortable, the shower is really nice. This was our first stay in a studio but we did not feel cramped at all. Very clean and comfortable

The heat wasn't working properly, the toilet had a hard time flushing, and the water pressure was very low.

So relaxing! Truly enjoyed our weekend getaway! They had everything we needed, super clean and quiet. We will be going back.

Property has everything you will need, from towels to coffee cups. The cabin is very cozy but could use a furniture upgrade. The futon couch and wicker barstools arent very comfortable. All in all a very good stay and would stay again.

We had a lovely time. It is in a beautiful location that feels remote, but yet close to many fun things to do. The cabin had everything we needed and the decor was super cute. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this cute little cabin for our 9th anniversary and enjoyed every minute. The cabin was perfect for our needs and the location could not have been better! It felt like you were staying in the treetops. The cute rustic cabin had everything we needed. We will absolutely plan to return in the future!

We had a great stay at the cabin! Everything was clean and the directions getting there were spot on. The cabin is smaller, but perfect for what I was looking for. It has everything you need plus a covered porch! The only “negative” I’d point out is if someone had a bigger truck or SUV, the driveway might be hard to get in and out of.

My teenage daughter and I had the best girls trip. The cabin was adorable, my daughter said it reminded her of a fairy cottage from the outside. It was very clean and well stocked. Loved how close it was to the state park and other activities like the drive through Safari. The host were super responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely stay again!

Better than expected. Super friendly owners. Responds quickly and very helpful. I want to stay there again. Might make this my yearly retreat cabin.

The ambience and cleanliness of the cabin were beyond expectations! We felt like we were hidden in the forest among the trees and it was amazing. The stairs leading up to the cabin are steep and it's a bit of a climb, but as long as you don't have mobility issues, you'll be fine. You also want to have a flashlight if you're arriving after dark. The bed was super comfortable and the living area was nice. We didn't really utilize the kitchen much other than the refrigerator, so I couldn't give you any insight there other than to bring any kitchen tools you don't want to be without. Given that this is a cabin for rent, the quality of the items supplied may not be what you need if you plan to prepare food. There was a cooktop and microwave/convection oven available though. My complaints would mostly be small things. There's nothing next to the bed for personal items and we could only locate one plug behind the headboard. Fortunately, we brought a small extension cord to plug charger cords in. There's also no towel rack for the hand towel in the bathroom. I found myself washing my hands in the kitchen sink so I could have a towel close at hand. The outdoor areas are great! I loved the little window, the lights, and the rocking chairs. I only wish I had made more use of them while we were there. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay there again. Finally, be mindful that the road is dirt and narrow. So be careful of pedestrians and other vehicles.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was a great size for the two of us, and we were able to enjoy the fire pit as well as make a couple meals at the house. It was very clean and decor was cute. Great experience!

Wonderful, great communication. Secluded in a quiet area, but very close to town.. Perfect please for 2 people to get away for the weekend.. Peace and quiet, loved the porch with rocking chairs to drink coffee !! Comfortable bed. Great shower!! Overall WONDERFUL!!! Would come to this place again and recommend to others..

Lovely tiny cabin secluded in the trees! Beautiful view of the woods from the balcony. Away from the highway and buzz of the town but still within a short 10 minute drive. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet getaway, this is it!

We enjoyed our getaway. The cabin was well appointed with everything. Our favorite spot was the outdoor area. We sat and listened to the birds and enjoyed the dappled shade across the trees. Had coffee in the morning in the outdoor area and drinks in the evening as well. We had a visit from 2 very friendly happy dogs. We went gambling at the new ChoctawLanding which is very close up the cabin. We did not want to leave.
