Sweetslade Cottage exceeded both of our expectations. There was private parking outside the cottage, which was lit up beautifully when we arrived. We walked in to music playing in the background and were blown away by the decor and cleanliness. There were so many added extra little touches that made it stand out from anywhere we have stayed before. Neatly arranged flowers from the garden were placed on the bedside table which looked beautiful. You really can see the effort that the owners put in to make it such a memorable getaway. We liked it so much that when we arrived home we wanted to redecorate our own house, as well as buy a new mattress, as the comfort at the cottage was next level. The bed was so comfortable that we had the best nights sleep in a long time. There is also lots to explore in the local area, it is extremely close to Stow-on-the Wold and Bourton on the Water, which are both beautiful little areas to visit. Burford is also a short drive away with shops and eateries along the historic high street and art galleries to explore. You can see a lot of the Cotswolds over a short weekend and still enjoy the cottage or if you have time book even longer. The weekend was such a memorable experience for us both, which we really enjoyed. If you want a lovely relaxing weekend away to recharge and explore the Cotswolds then Sweetslade is the perfect place .

My partner and I took a short trip to the Cotswolds and stayed at Sweetslade cottage. The cottage was beautiful with everything you could need for a short break. It was beautifully decorated and had all of the luxurious home comforts together with a few very welcome treats! The host could not do more to help and provided excellent suggestions for local walks and places to eat. Highly recommend!

It is such a lovely property with great proximity to some of the more central Cotswold villages. We loved the host and enjoyed the personal touches!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was about a 4 minute drive to the nearest town of Broughton on the Water- which was frankly the most touristy and busy town of them all. You'd definitely need a car (or hike) to get to the others. The tiny home itself was well equipped, with very thoughtful amenities including wine, coffee (including alt milk) and treats. The host was wonderfully helpful, pointing out the nearby walks and food recommendations. All in all, we'd absolutely return to this property.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely little cottage which has everything you need for a short stay in the Cotswolds. The host was amazing, providing little extras and catering to extra requests where possible. The cottage itself is super cozy, clean and comfortable. Very close to all attractions in the Cotswolds as long as you are driving. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Sweetslade cottage was absolutely lovely it was clean and cosy with everything you might need Sarah was an excellent host and we really appreciated the personal touches e.g flowers from her garden, treats etc The location is central to all the lovely places in the Cotswolds which is really handy but you do get some traffic noise from the road behind the property (fine if you kept the windows closed) We had a lovely week and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Cotswolds area.
