Stayed Dec 20, 2025We had an amazing stay here for Christmas week. This was our second time staying at this home and it was just as perfect as the previous stay. We love the location and the home and we will definitely be back again!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This house has the BEST layout and was perfect for our vacation. House is larger than it appears and photos. So much room in the house and layout gave us all plenty of space. Deck does have a covered area which we were so thankful for! Shower below, grill and tons of beach chairs and toys to enjoy. OH and a fire pit to use also right in front of property. We loved it here so much we hated to have to leave. Thanks for letting us use your home! It was GREAT and made so many memories!

Stayed Jul 6, 2025We had a wonderful stay at the Sunflower Cottage last week. Grandparents, parents and young kids all loved the easy walk out the front door to play in the waves all day. It’s nice and calm in the mornings and then has nice boogie boarding waves by the afternoon each day. The house was much bigger in person and a well stocked kitchen. There is a charcoal grill, an abundance of beach toys and tons of chairs under the house so leave yours at home and save the room in the car. Outdoor shower was awesome to rinse off in while sandy. We fished multiple times a day and caught lots of crazy wildlife, so just a heads up you are in nature and the sea creatures are not scared off by a few people splashing around! We loved that it felt much more natural than down the road at the high rises. 30 min away is Waterville WaterPark which we did one day and it did NOT disappoint! Such a fun adventure day after the quiet beaches.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a smaller group this year and so we a little uncertain how a one level would play out but it was perfect. bed and bathrooms are on the east side, completely separate from the kitchen/family/dining rooms. Layout was great. We had two couples, one with a girl and the other two boys. Bunk bed room worked perfect for the two boys and the girl got her how Queen. Adults got the kings. AllHow was well kept and everything was in working order. Wifi was spotty, but we expected as we have stayed in Ft Morgan before. There are both drop and pod coffee makers here. 2 charcoal grills. The outdoor shower was great for getting out 5 year old clean after the beach. Plenty of room in the kitchen for dishes and food (there were leftover spices waiting for us which was nice. Less we had to buy). All in all great experience. If we need a place this size again, would definitely look into it for availability.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house is absolutely perfect for family vacations. It is equipped with comfortable, attractive furniture and everything you could possibly need in the beautiful kitchen. The deck is so perfect for sipping on morning coffee or evening cocktails. Comfortable bar-high chairs allow several people to sit under the covered deck and watch the dolphins and other sea life while children can safely play in the sand below. There are plenty of sleeping options. The washer and dryer are modern and efficient. There are so many pleasant surprises in this spacious cottage, with ample covered parking. The beach was never crowded, and we were able to set up as close to the water as we wanted. It was all perfect in every way!

Stayed Jul 31, 2022Wonderful if you want directly on the beach! This was perfect for our family of eight. It was directly on the beach and it was an uncrowded beach. Forget the high-rises that stack chairs and umbrellas. Safe enough to leave your things on the beach for the next day if desired. if you want the city life, probably not where you want. This is focused on the beach. Marina and fishing charters nearby. Ferry and Fort Morgan nearby. cleaning Service could be a little better but that did not ruin our trip! Town is 30 minutes away. Adults and children were fine right there on the beach. College age would probably rather be in town. Could not be a better location if you want beachfront in a single private home!

Stayed May 29, 2022The beach was not crowded at all! Just a few 100 yards down was pretty crowded but our spot was wide open. The beds and linens were very clean. Decor was homey and comfortable. It's due for a deep cleaning but definitely not on the gross scale. Plenty of parking, towels, Blankets, dishes and beach chairs! 100% will be back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved the comfort and decor of the house - very tastefully done, and very roomy. Beds were quite comfortable, though a bit creaky in a few cases. Well-stocked kitchen. It was one of the best beaches we've ever seen to walk on, and it was near enough to dining and activities in the area. We recommend biking at Gulf State Park (our favorite) as well as taking the nearby ferry to see Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile, as well as touring nearby Ft. Morgan. We'd like to come back!

Stayed Mar 18, 2022Very nicely decorated and furnished home. We loved being directly on the beach, which wasn't crowded at all. Wifi is a bit spotty and the place could use some deep cleaning (spills in fridge, drawers a little messy, trash behind and underneath furniture). However, our stay was wonderful - it was nice to be away from Spring Break traffic etc.! We recommend the Tiki Cookout for great food! (Behind The Pines)
