** Our resort’s new state-of-the-art water treatment facility is now fully operational. While the resort is currently under a water advisory during the startup phase, boiling water is NOT required (but optional). Recent testing has shown no issues and the water quality is as good as or better than before the new treatment plant was built.

***Our mailing address is considered Kelowna, but we are half an hour outside of the city of Kelowna and about 40 minutes outside of Vernon. There are no major grocery stores or gas stations on the way. The location is better for a stay in/relax/get-a-way from the city type of vacation, with the occasional trip in to town to the wineries/golf courses etc. If you want to be close to everything, this is probably not a good fit property for you. We do have a small store at the resort which also has a kitchen (counter service with dining area). They do a great job with the store and have some fun stuff (ice cream, special coffee, etc.)

► PLEASE NOTE ◄

►Minimum booking days may vary by date depending on the neighbouring booking dates and VRBO may not reflect these minimums

►Garage is owner's supply storage and not included in the rental

►There is 2 car parking on the driveway and extra parking very close by. Driveway should be large enough for a boat (depending on your boat size).

►For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located:
1. Over the garage which monitors the driveway/front yard.
2. Doorbell camera which monitors the front door/entry porch.
3. Inside the garage (owner's only area)
There are NO inside cameras.

►Pool & hot tubs are open seasonally. Lower pool and hot tub is open approx. May 1 to Thanksgiving and the upper pool & hot tub are open approx. May 15 to early September. Closures can happen due to maintenance but there will normally be at least one pool and one hot tub open between the start of May and the end of September, but we can not guarantee due to unforseen events.

► Cottage is family-friendly but not child-proof. Property is NOT FENCED in and the resort is surrounded by wooded nature.

► The resort is in a wooded area that is largely wilderness. As such, it is possible to get 4-6-8 (or more) legged, winged, or crawling visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented even with regular pest control.

► Never leave food items in the vehicles, and never leave food, food leftovers, or trash outside.


► A FEW RULES ◄

►This is a family resort, so no parties. Please respect our neighbours, quiet time is between 9am to 10pm. Fines from bylaw will be charged to guest.

► Guest will need to sign a rental agreement, agree to strata rules, and resort guest registration form via adobe e-sign within 2 days of receipt (guest needs to provide their email address for the e-sign within 24 hours of reservation being accepted). Failure to sign within 2 days of receiving rental agreement will result in cancellation of the booking at hosts discretion. Bookings made 1-2 days before arrival need to be signed the same day to avoid cancellation.

►Minimum age to rent 28. Photo id needed to verify renter name and age of renter.

►Guests are responsible to review strata rules and are responsible for any fines imposed by the strata for breaking any strata rule.

►Maximum 7 guests, including children/babies and strata fines for over occupancy, which guest is responsible to pay ($200 per fine). Immediate cancellation of booking without refund if maximum occupancy is exceeded.

► No refunds will be given for weather/power/internet outages, fear of driving on narrow roads, change of plans, or life events. Please consider appropriate TRAVEL INSURANCE.

►We are typically maximum 4-5 adults plus 2-3 children. This may vary slightly depending on the time of year and reason for stay.

►Sorry, no pets (but we can not guarantee there have been no pets, if you are sensitive to this or have allergies).

    My wife Barb and I had wonderful stay at the cottage “Sunset Ridge” at La Casa Resort. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee on the upper deck… the view was amazing. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, the welcome basket of treats was a nice surprise and greatly appreciated.The location of the cottage provided quick access too lake Okanagan as well as a number of other lakes in the surrounding area, we are avid kayakers so we did enjoy many hours on the water. We also enjoyed visiting some local vineyards.The Market at La Casa was very handy and we did take advantage of “Wing Wednesday” which was quite fun. Our host Marnie was accessible, she reach out to us to ensure everything was going well and provided information about local events. A very enjoyable week!!!

    Marnie is an excellent host, and the property is incredible! The view from the front decks is my favourite thing, but the short walk to the pool is a close second. The kids loved the bunk bed room with chalk wall and all had to take turns sleeping in the different spots. Also, not mentioned was the hummingbird feeders! Absolutely recommend making a batch of syrup and watching them come by while you have morning coffee on the deck with epic views.

    The house is at the top of the resort with great views the location is very quiet. One of the swimming pools is just down the street. Access to the other amenities and the lake is straightforward though I would recommend hiring a golf cart for the duration if you have a lot of paraphernalia to take up and down. The house is lovely and has everything you could want in terms of amenities (kitchen utensils/appliances, BBQ, towels, TV, toys etc.). We found the beds very comfortable and we particularly appreciated the two decks, which have stunning views over the lake. Fast and reliable WiFi. Communication with the host was exemplary: Marnie always replied promptly and clearly to address any queries.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and first time staying in La Casa! Being 30 minutes out of Kelowna really forced us to slow down and just enjoy the beach. Our kids loved the Aqua Park and spent everyday there. And we were close enough to the wineries that we managed to have a couple days to do tastings as well! The house was cozy and easily fit the 7 of us! I think our only minor complaint were there were lots of wasps, so we couldn’t hang on the balcony in the evenings as much as we would have liked! Highly recommend this house!!! Marnie was AMAZING with communication and we always felt taken care of!

    The view is absoluteky spectactular ! The condo was very clean and well stocked. Marnie iis always at your disposition for any questions you might have . If you are looking for a clean and relaxing vacation = that is the place !

    We have stayed here several times and never cease to be impressed. Again, the details in how it is stocked with sugars and spices and a serving of coffee. Comfortable beds. Love the kings bed so much! Like the new sofa. Of course the views are awesome. Nice to walk to the upper pool.
