Storybook Cottage in a Dream Location - Private Pool, Near Siesta & More

We always enjoy staying at the Cottage. Jane has a welcome package for us & our fur babies. Close to everything & super quiet.

Didn't have pets the property was so awesomely supplied.

Cottage was very clean. Did not use the pool as it was not heated. Owner had placed fresh flowers on dining room table, and provided treats for my dog and I. She also had several pamphlets of things to do in the area. I had brought my own cooler, but she did have coolers, beach chairs, and beach umbrella available to use. Nice quiet area with a dog park at the end of her street that we visited daily. Home was located close to grocery store and Siesta Beach. Didn’t want for anything.

This little cottage was adorable and very comfortable for myself and my husband. We stayed a week and had everthing we needed. Jane has thought of everything and was very communicative. The location is perfect with a water entrance for our kayaks just down the road. Siesta and Lido Key are very close. Had a great time kayaking through the mangrove trees on Lido Key. We loved the pool and enjoyed it most every afternoon. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great hostess. A great place to stay for two people. Beaches are ten minutes away. All stores are five minutes away.

Jane was very attentive. She has thought of everything someone might need.

Jane was super reliable when it comes to communicating and was willing to help us with anything we may have needed during our stay! The house was the perfect size for my boyfriend, our 2 dogs and I with a cute little backyard for the dogs to hang out and we really liked the separate driveway, it made packing/ unpacking really convenient and nice not to disturb her as the front door was just steps away. We will definitely be booking with her again when we come back as our overall stay was a 10/10 :)

It was an amazing experience! Jane was extremely helpful and wonderful! The pool is perfect and Jane thought of everything to make the cottage feel like home. The yard was also gorgeous. It was nice to always have a canopy to park the car under for shade.

We have stayed twice at the Storybook Cottage and had wonderful trips each time. Jane is very kind and goes out of her way to make sure the cottage is well stocked, clean, and ready for visitors. She is responsive to messages and could not be a better host. The cottage is adorable and has everything you could want for your stay. It is in a great location for visits to Sarasota, Venice, Siesta Key, Manasota, and many other places on the central gulf coast. We hope to have the pleasure of returning soon, the cottage and this area is one of our favorite places to visit!

Jane’s house was perfect for us. The location is quiet yet just a short distance to shopping restaurants and beaches. The house was spotless and Jane had many extra touches that made our stay so wonderful. The bed is very comfy the kitchen has everything you need. There is 2 TVs and the internet worked really well. The pool is great! Jane is an excellent host . This is a 10 out of 10 place.

This is a lovely cottage, the owner thought of everything! You also have your very own pool. Very private location and the Eagles were a plus we got watch them everyday from the top of very tall Pine Tree on the property.

Jane, was an excellent host. Just as everyone described. Just wished we could have met her & enjoyed our stay.Unfortunately we had a death in the family & had to cut our trip short & return home. We enjoyed the few days we were there everything was quiet,clean & exceptional. Loved the little cottage :-) and the host Jane of course :-)

Cozy darling cottage very close to many waterfront restaurants & to beautiful Siesta Key & Venice Beaches. Jane, the owner is very kind & helpful. There is a private pool as well. I highly recommend a stay here!

Jane was a great host. She came over & introduced herself as we were unloading. The cottage was as pictured. She had fresh roses & doggy treats for our Furbabies when we walked in. The bed was super comfy. She provides all the amenities of home. Even though we didn't use the pool, it was an added bonus. We hope to be able to stay again soon. Thanks, Kathy & Rick

Private location situated off the street. Spent a lot of time in the pool. The cottage is something to see. The construction is old Florida, not the cookie cutter crap you see in the beach communities. The location is near everything including beaches.Fran.

I would 100% stay here again! Jane was so amazing to deal with. Gave us great places for dogs and it was much needed because I had no clue what was dog friendly!

If you are looking for a place with a pool that has any kind privacy, this is not the place for you. Moving past that, the cottage was adorable and looked like something from a fairy tale. We had everything we needed and were in close proximity to the shops and beaches in Sarasota and Venice. We were very comfortable all week and had a great stay!

Jane was a wonderful host. I stayed for my birthday week. She surprised me with flowers and a cupcake. Very sweet and thoughtful. The property was quiet and peaceful. Nice neighborhood to take a walk around. The cottage was clean with all the little extras you may be looking for. Hoping to return for another visit.

Jane's cottage was just as described. She met us on arrival and gave us an overview of the rental and area. She was readily available if assistance was needed. The cottage was well equipped from the kitchen to the gear for the beach. It was the perfect location to visit Gulf Beaches and access to a variety of stores/businesses. We enjoyed our stay!
