This location is everything. The cottage is directly across from the beach access and would cost 6x the amount if it was a full house . The 3 bedrooms are clean, and roomy . We loved the well appt kitchen and private deck. It’s adorable & cozy!

We have stayed in many Oceanwoods cottages, and this one was our favorite! It has beautiful updates and is so close to the beach. We would love to stay again- longer next time!

What a great cottage. Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, beautifully updated and decorated, amazing location directly across from the beach entry, lovely back deck. This was our first time in Kiawah, and are so happy we found this wonderful rental for our winter vacation. We can't wait to come back again.

I can't wait to stay here again. From check-in to check-out, everything was easy and enjoyable. The door keypad made our late night arrival a breeze. The entire home (kitchen, living room, bathroom, even the outside deck area) was spotless upon arrival. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and baking. The bedrooms were generously sized and ideal for families. The two bathrooms were thoughtfully located, offer ample storage, and one even included a detachable shower head for rinsing off sandy feet! The outside deck was a perfect spot to drink coffee in the morning and relax in the evening. The home was a short walk to the beach (1 min) and is conveniently located on the island with only a 10 minute drive to restaurants and a grocery store (in Freshfields Market).

It’s hard to get any closer to the beach than where this cottage sits! It’s directly across the street with a short beach access pathway. Everything was as described in the listing and the house was very clean and tidy. ! We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay here and we will be back!

Our stay was perfect from the time we arrived throughout the entire visit. The cottage had everything we needed; and it was so nice to walk into a place and not feel like we needed to clean first before we began our stay. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Location and access to the beach was awesome, and the entire community is well-maintained and beautiful! We will definitely return and would love to stay here again. This is a sweet little beach cottage in a great spot. The house has all that you might need for cooking/eating in terms of the kitchen set up, appliances, deck/grill, dining table etc. I found the bedrooms, bathrooms and the large open common living area to be quite comfortable. The decor is nice and the finishes feel high-end, but it’s relatively understated and does not feel fussy. But the real selling point here is the access to the beach. It’s just across the street!! And it’s a nice stretch of beach without a lot of people. It feels very private and calm. Definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough about the house, the location, and the immediate, kind, and patient response to our questions (all TV related- we’re not the most tech-savvy people!) we will absolutely be back.

We loved staying at this beautiful place just across the street from the beach. You can see the #15 beach access boardwalk from the front porch. We returned to the beach for walks multiple times per day. Every night we enjoyed drinks on the spacious back porch listening to the soothing ocean sounds. The overall peacefulness was probably the thing we enjoyed the most about this house. It's far away from the main road, so we couldn't hear any car noise. The only noise we heard was landscaping and contractors at the nearby mansions, which is to be expected on Kiawah

The house was perfect for a beach week in early September with our pup. The location is ideal--quiet on West Beach literally steps from the beach. The house itself was clean and mostly well apportioned. The one note is that the kitchen was a bit under-stocked on pots and pans. All other needs were met. And the bedrooms and beds were terrific. Would definitely return.

This lovely, well appointed, clean vacation home is a terrific addition to the Oceanwoods Cottage rental market. Our family stayed here over the Labor Day holiday and were pleased with the updated coastal decor and the thoughtful touches that made it so comfortable. Best of all, it’s super close to the beach access! We hope to stay here again next year.

This cottage is right across the street from boardwalk beach access. We've stayed in several different places at Kiawah in the past, and while we always have this idea that we're going to take an evening walk on the beach, it never seemed to happen at those other rentals because it was just a bit too far. At this place, the beach access is right there. It's like we had our own private boardwalk, so we finally got to realize our fantasy of nightly beach walks. A big bonus for us: the electric vehicle charging made the trip much less stressful. You need a mobile connector to plug into the outlet; the tesla mobile connector comes with the correct plug, a NEMA 14-50 standard plug. It was a great stay. We will definitely be back if this place is available next time!

We've been coming to Kiawah every year to celebrate our anniversary since the 1970s (this year is our 54th!). This house was the perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. Check-in was easy with a door code. The hosts were super-responsive when we had any questions or issues. The location was great- right next to the beach! Night heron park is a short walk away. We ate dinner at the Jasmine Porch restaurant at the Sanctuary hotel. It was pricey, but the food and service were superb. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a Kiawah getaway. The location is perfect, and the house is well-stocked with all the essentials. 5/5 stars!

This is a very cute little place. We stayed here with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. This cottage is great for families and older people like us because it is so close to the beach. There is very easy access to the beach across the street (very little walking required to get there which is good news for my knees!) . We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and doing puzzles at the kitchen table with our grandchildren. Everything was as neat as a pin and very clean. We are planning on coming back next year!

Great little cottage in an excellent location! The main draw is the location—it is in a quiet, beautiful area literally across the street from the beach. It’s also close to the Night Heron park and relatively close to Freshfields for all the grocery runs. I know Kiawah pretty well and this is probably one of the best locations you could get on the island, especially for young families, due to the easy access to All The Things. Even so, it still has that special Kiawah vibe where you feel like you are a million miles from everything. The cottage itself is nice—it’s modern and comfortable and has everything you need (full kitchen, laundry, deck with table and chairs, grill etc). The skylights and the blond wood flooring make everything feel light and airy. Beds are comfy, internet was fast and check-in/out was very easy. Highly recommend it!
