Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stables East at Melfort Village is a lovely 2 bed cottage with access to the facilities at Melfort Village. A great location for exploring the local coastline from Oban down to Lochgilphead, Crinan and beyond. Easdale and the Isle Of Seil is well worth a day out. The pool and spa at Melfort were well used by us, perfect after a day out walking or cycling. The cottage has everything you need, and is cosy and comfortable. Some things could do with an upgrade, such as the wood burning stove and the wall heater in the bedroom could be replaced with something more efficient. But on the whole it’s good. The WiFi was surprising good given the location. The staff at reception were excellent, always really helpful and full of advice about the area. Will definitely return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Hot water pressure in shower very weak. We were surprised that we had to pay an additional amount for the wood and kindling for the fireplace.
