Fine old building in a great location BUT garden was a disappointment. TV didn't work (didn't complain as saw another guest complain in March that it wasn't working and it was so small we used my laptop). No freezer section in fridge. Duvets on beds considerably smaller than the bed.

The cottage was in a fabulous location and very clean. However the on line photographs are very misleading - the cottage is very dark with not enough lighting even during a very sunny day (more lamps needed) the beds had two flat pillows each and were not at all comfortable or inviting. The photos showed 4 pillows per bed. Towels provided were of a lovely quality however you can’t run the 2 showers simultaneously. The cottage was functional but absolutely no wow factor at all - could only be used as a place to sleep not at all comfortable to spend any length of time in. Overall very basic. We were slightly disappointed. Would recommend to others for the location and cleanliness but would have to say it was basic - very overpriced!!

A lovely cottage with a beautiful church at the end of the road, and around the corner from the Main Street in Burford. Three storeys of comfort and delight. Would definitely visit again. Pretty, clean, and a really helpful housekeeper.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Burford, TV didn't work but wasn't too much of an issue for us.

The cottage could benefit from more lighting in the living room as very dark. It could do with another comfy chair as could not seat 5 people comfortably. The bedrooms could do with a mirror. The oven was very dirty and could have done with a clean so we didn't like to use it. We could not sit in garden comfortably as chairs were locked in shed along with bbq and we weren't given the combination for the lock. We rang the number given to us but they didn't know the code. Beware of dog mess too in garden right outside back door. Apart from these points we did have a good weekend. Very central position, lots of good pubs with lovely food. Lovely places to visit.

Great location and a lovely characterful cottage which we rented for 2 couples. Beds were really comfortable and it’s very tastefully furnished. However it’s shame there isn’t another armchair in the living room as the wooden window seat isn’t the most comfortable. Also a microwave would be handy in the kitchen.
