Stayed Aug 2, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impressions of this log cabin home were outstanding. We thought we would be renting this year after year. The property was also amazing...two docks, separated by a long distance, a nice sandy beach, complete privacy and quiet. The kitchen are is small, but was well equipped. Beds are comfy. But...every night I heard noises consistent with rodents. Sunday my daughter woke us up screaming that there was a bat flying around the first floor room. We tried to get it out, but it just disappeared. After that sighting, we were on high alert, didn't really sleep well. Fast forward to Wednesday, we had two bats. As a result of bat exposure, we needed to get rabies shots. So lots of time wasted as a result of this cabin. ER visit in Bridgton for 6 of us + 4 follow up shots. I would not recommend this home until they straighten out the bat problem. Seriously disappointed.

Found the layout in terms of bathrooms prohibitive: Upper loft had private bath, while others--often totaling 8-all had to share one. Would have liked to have been provided more kayaks
