Stayed Sep 20, 2025Love this treehouse!! It was super cute and we were bummed to only stay 1 night. The area was very pretty and we spent some day exploring the grounds. Only thing to note is there is no silverware, plates, cups… anything like that so bring your own if you need it.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Thank you for sharing your darling treehouse with us! Sophie's Roost was clean, comfortable and much roomier than expected. Our granddaughters enjoyed seeing ducks, goats,donkey and chickens near The Plucky Peacock, which is down the road. We would definitely recommend your property.

Stayed Jun 17, 2022I surprised my boys, ages 7 & 9, with a weekend at Candlelight Forrest. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Staying in Sophie’s Roost for two nights was just the sweetest experience. It truly felt like a luxury treehouse, and I enjoyed it as much as my boys. They loved the entire property and enjoyed each activity, from the scavenger hunt and fishing to canoeing and playing in the stream. It was definitely a boy’s dream weekend!
