Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort Cottage 3C

We had awesome time even though it rained all day one day but when you in the right place with the right people you have time of your life

Heaven on earth. The property is right on the beach, has a big grassy field with volleyball set up, great playground, outdoor pingpong table, heated pool, pickleball and basketball courts. The house was just what we needed, comfortable and clean. I can't say enough about this location. Also very responsive.

The location and grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The private beach and serene, family setting were amazing. Every path edged and flower bed perfect with lots of different varieties of plants. There’s endless activities too. The pool was lovely and even had a lifeguard on duty. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking and the steps to the beach were new and nice. The accommodations could just use that same level of attention. We had several light bulbs out in our rental. It was very musty. Overall it seemed like it had been cleaned, but maybe shut up for awhile. In the master bed, we both just rolled to the middle. The coffee pot was so old it took forever to brew and some wiggling. The refrigerator worked fine, but looked like it had sat outside for a couple years. Our back deck had lovely outdoor seating, but it was covered and really dirty pillows underneath. Would have loved something more basic and clean to eat outside, etc.This unit has no dishwasher or laundry. But kitchen soap and towels were provided. There was a nice assortment of games and plenty of clean towels. The door locks are old and a bit tricky, but we felt successful once we caught on. The pickleball court made our day and we enjoyed one of the hammocks too. We have T-Mobile and service was terrible, so we were grateful for the WiFi. A few tweaks and this place could be really really perfect. We had a great time, beautiful weather and relaxing stay.

I only booked this place because i was told we can get married on the beach there and have a cook out after. Was told 3 hours before my wedding that we can no longer do that but far the worst experience ever. Not to mention the bedroom lock was broken and other guest letting there kid go naked on the beach so i could not take my kids down to enjoy the beach. The only nice thing about the place is the pool.

Beach access was great! Clean beach/property. Minutes from town, shops, restaurants, public beaches. Tons of amenities.

Great weekend here! We loved being able to see the lake & beach steps away from our unit. It was nice to do lap swimming in the morning even on cooler days with the heated pool, minutes away from the other beaches & downtown too. Will be back :)

We loved it! Sunsets on the beach were beatiful!

Our Sleepy Hollow stay was great. Unit was neat and clean. Resort was very quiet. We were steps from the pool and play ground. And beach was within walking distance. 4 adults and 1 small child. We will definitely be back!
