Stayed Jul 8, 2023On arrival we noticed a few things that needed attention. I emailed the company and most were fixed the next day. Very clean accommodation and location was super quiet.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Second time booking through Hemera holidays and 2nd lodge we have stayed in. Lodge is beautiful and fully equipped with all kitchen needs. Beds comfy sofa nice to relax on an evening, internet works fab in lodge too. Hot tub was lovely and nice big table on decking and really private. We would defo return to this lodge and enjoyed our stay again. Fab spot close to pub and such a beautiful site. Things to make stay a little better… other lodge has board games and books for them raining days and this lodge doesn’t. Bathroom shower is powerful but the shower needs a little attention as loose on the wall. Fridge has a leak which is looks like owners are aware but haven’t fixed so had to clean up water one day! Also no welcome pack which I’ve had in other lodges and my parents stayed in another lodge on site and got bottle of Prosecco etc In welcome pack. Just a nice touch. Overall none of the recommendations effected our holiday but just extra touches could Make it that little bit more special.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is only my second time staying in a lodge. The first time was a brand new lodge and my family was the first to stay. It didn’t have a hoover or a mop which was a nightmare when there is a toddler in the family. So when we went to Skye View we packed everything, like we were moving house. Skye View was lovely. It had everything, including a hoover and a mop. It was a really cosy, spacious lodge with a huge decking area and private hot tub. Usually we wouldn’t do much cooking while we are away, but it was Christmas and we couldn’t get booked into the restaurant onsite for Christmas lunch. We had already packed pans, steamer, serving dishes etc. The lodge equipment crockery and utensils are more than adequate for cooking basic meals, but we would have been stuck if we hadn’t taken our own to enable us to cook a Christmas feast. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, wall oven and conductor hob. It also has really creaky floors throughout which wasn’t a problem until trying to creep around on a morning while everyone else was still in bed. The lodge is in a good location, it was a two minute walk from the bar/restaurant but in a really quiet area. The decking faces trees rather than another lodge which is great for privacy. It also has wifi which was a bonus. The food in the Crazy Horse Saloon was really nice and the staff were really friendly. We originally booked via a travel agent then nearer the time of the stay we were contacted by Hemera to finalise arrangements and sort pre departure arrangements. The team were brilliant. We have had a lovely time for our first Christmas break away and have booked to go back to Skye View in the summer, we have booked direct with Hemera this time. I price checked with other companies like Hoseasons who were over £200 more for the same period I have book.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely stay in this lodge, it is very spacious and comfortable. The deck is at the back of the lodge and very private with a large space and a hot tub. The only complaint I have is that the temperature of the hot tub was far too hot at 40 degrees. I have a hot tub at home and keep mine between 37 -38 which is a nice comfortable heat. You cannot alter the temperature either as it is pre set at this temperature. I have to say this is not unique to this lodge as I have stayed in various lodges on this site and have experienced the same issue. The lodge itself is well equipped with everything you need and is larger than the standard lodge. They even have Netflix available on the TV. The bathroom is also a decent size with a good powerful shower. The beds are also very comfortable. The lodge itself is in a good location not far from the on site pub and also the lake, it is also south facing so will be a sun trap in the summer. I would return to this lodge but would request that the temperature of the hot tub is turned down. I have booked through Hemera holidays a few times now and they are very helpful, friendly and efficient.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had an amazing time at Felmoor park. The Skye View lodge was in a perfect location, and layout was great, especially having dogs that can bark at other dogs walking past, as the living room was at the back. The hot tub area was very private as also at the back. The living area was lovely and cosy and the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stayed at Skye View for a weekend, what a lovely lodge it was too. Initially an issue with WI-FI but that was sorted very quickly. Spacious and very clean, loved the site . The beds were comfy and the layout was perfect. Hot tub was perfect and we will definitely be back. The Crazy Horse Saloon which is on site was excellent too, loved the entertainment and food and drinks were amazing. The only downfall on this site is there is no shop but maybes this may change with the new owners .

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Other half of our party stayed in Skye View and they werent disappointed. Huge sofa and lovely wood effect funishings. We came as a party of 12 which 6 of us were in the next lodge. Louise from Hemera was very helpful accommodating us to make sure we were next to each other. Lovely park with lovely lodges. Will most certainly be back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic location for our trip to Northumberland. The lodge was beautiful and although seemed like it needed a little attention was perfect for our stay. The beds in the twin room were a little uncomfortable and the fridge needed repairing. But these were little things and didn’t impact the weekend. The hot tub was amazing and we would definitely use Hemera Holidays again.
