Simple & Fun Studio Cottage

Second stay and just as great as before. Hosts are extremely kind and there if/when you need anything.

We were invited o a party on Clear Lake and decided instead of making the 1.5 hour trip home after the party - to make a weekend of it. Cheryl and Brad were wonderful hosts. The place was spotless and so very cute. Just what we needed! We will definitely rent from them again!

It was very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and the ad stated what to bring.

Worked out perfect, close to other family. Didn’t spend too much time there.

We loved the location of this little cabin. We could easily walk to the beach or for ice cream! Our granddaughter and I enjoyed playing in the water, watching the lake at the boat launch, and just wandering around the area. We used the picnic table with our craft box to draw and color. The location was exactly what we wanted. One downside to the home is the beds. We knew they were sofa sleepers - however, the one closest to the door was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the bars through the mattress. We should have brought along our air mattress! Our granddaughter slept in the one closer to the kitchen and was comfortable (granted she is 6 and had been running and playing all day). Our other issue was no hot water. We ran the faucet forever trying to get warm water to wash our dishes. We finally did the camper thing and warmed water on the stove. Based on that - we did not use the shower!

My adult daughters stayed here while we rented the cottage next door, which is where we gathered for meals. It was a great little getaway for them.

It was a little smaller than I thought. Great location. Very clean. Friendly and courteous staff. Wish for bath towels.

Cheryl and Brad are amazing hosts, everything was ready from the moment we arrived and Brad was kind enough to give us a tour of the property/other amenities. The cottage worked perfectly for my 2 teens and myself for 5 days where we were able to unplug from the big city life and just relax for the week. Easy access to boat ramp, dock, private beach, great swimming and fishing access. Wifi was working great as there isn't much cell service, which I loved, as the kids were able to turn off their devices and enjoy the simple kid stuff in life, like, boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming and just having a great time by the fire. We also had a few visitors who stayed overnight as there is plenty of space to pulling a camper or pop a tent. Overall, great experience and we will be back! Clear Lake is beautiful!

It was clean and comfortable, and well appointed. I can’t give the beds great reviews as they are sofa beds, and are not super comfortable. But once situated I slept pretty well. The space in front of the toilet is barely adequate for an average size person. A tall or large person wouldn’t be comfortable when seated. Nice big shower though. It was nice to be so close to the lake - enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. Our host Brad was around, and was available if any problems were to come up.

The studio cottage was just right for one or two people. Loved the tile floors, pretty wood ceiling, and tiled shower. I put the big couch cushions as another layer on the pull-out sofa bed, and it was comfortable for sleeping. Enjoyed my stay.
