The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms which are a super king-size double (zip/link, can be a twin on request, a king-size double and a single room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside there is roadside parking and an enclosed rear yard with furniture. Silversands Cottage is in a fantastic location just a short walk to the local amenities and the beach.

Electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview and catch up service, Blu-ray, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Town: The bustling little seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters - the daily catch can be bought at a fish shop in the harbour.

    Everything you would need in a holiday cottage, modern equipment with some excellent family safety features such as stair gates and automatic night lights. Located close to beaches, harbour and village with some very good restaurants/bistro's serving all types of fresh produce. Plenty of nearby family and pet friendly pubs also serving good food. Would definitely return for another visit to explore more of the dog friendly beaches and pubs with our family and loyal friend Sir Duke.
