A clean, charming cottage full of local character. The host was incredibly welcoming, the amenities were thoughtful and complete, and the location—right along the path to the beach—couldn’t have been better. A fantastic stay all around. Highly recommended, will happily stay again.

We just returned from an incredible stay at this cottage, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is unbeatable—literally steps from the beach(30 second walk from backyard) which made it so easy for our family of four to enjoy long, relaxing days by the ocean.The cottage itself was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. From comfortable beds to a well-stocked kitchen, it was clear the hosts put thought into making guests feel at home. The space was just the right size for us, and we especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and beachfront home base for a family vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was very nicely decorated and clean. The location is perfect if you’re looking for beach-time. Communication was a breeze, and the property is exactly as stated in the listing. Would 100% stay there again!

This is our second time staying at Shorewinds cottage, which probably says enough. The cottage is amazing. It is *extremely* close to the beach. It is also well stocked and kid friendly (our 4 year old daughter loved the place). The food in the area is really good, with a couple of great restaurants and cafes - Union Pier Social, Tapa Tacos, Red Arrow Roadhouse, Whistle Stop Grocery. There are more restaurants and cafes in New Buffalo, which is very close. David's Delicatessen and Coffee is a must. Both times we have visited we came in March, and while it can be a bit chilly, we really enjoy the peace and quiet in the off season. other must-do things: Warren Beach Dunes and Galien River County Park

House is very clean, but be sure to know it is behind three other houses. Had there been a view it would have been outstanding!

Booked the shorewinds cottage as a last minute weekend trip for my mom and I and it was perfect! The inside was cuter and bigger than pictured. Everything was clean and comfortable. I loved the outdoor seating areas and the proximity to the beach - amazing to not have to cross the street to get to the beach. Perfect location within walking distance of the Whistle Stop, The Roadhouse and Milda's. Would definitely book again!

We came back for our 2nd summer and we already booked again for our 3rd summer! Clean and spacious and very comfortable, appreciated the new beds and TVs and other improvements. The grounds are even more beautiful than the photos, bird lovers remember to bring seed for the feeders! Easy checkin, good communication with property manager. And the location cannot be beat!
