Stayed Dec 24, 2025Everything on this property was so clean and fresh. The beds we comfortable and there was plenty of room to leave your things. The host was so friendly and everything was properly stocked. I would highly recommend this cabin it could not have been more quiet and lovely. Thanks for letting our stay feel so pleasant. Would stay again if in the area.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025We were in town for a family reunion and were really, pleasantly surprised by this quaint little cottage. Its probably the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in across 5 states, super charming, and overall a quiet property. The property managers made themselves readily available to use and had an adorable welcoming committee made up of 2 poochies that our kids loved. Will definitely look them up again if needed!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025If you are looking for a place to clear your mind and be one with nature. This is your place. No busy streets, no loud noises, no city buses and no pollution. Sit outside and enjoy ample sunshine, listening to nature. I enjoyed my stay. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, plenty of natural light.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025We had a wonderful weekend at Shady Oaks! The house was exactly as described and has all the conveniences of home. The owners live close by and are lovely, even going above and beyond and bringing us delicious homemade baked goods. The house was extremely comfortable for our family of 4 and we will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Talladega area!
