Stayed Sep 18, 2020A late summer getaway that was as good as we hoped. Hidden away in a green and peaceful valley, the property was 10-15 minute walk to the beach, where there was 2 cafes and a pub, all that we would recommend. Plenty of walks, but remember the signs on the post are distances as the crow flies not the distance as you go up and down the valleys! Final note the cream teas on arrival delightful.

Stayed Oct 26, 2019Was greeted with a warm welcome, the property was clean and warm. A lovely touch with fresh scones and milk on arrival. Perfect to recharge the batteries, the walk to the beach was a great way to start the day and the cafe of the beach did a brill breakfast. Could not fault the cottage in anyway, will be returning next year

Stayed Jun 15, 2019It`s very basic and small, but clean and tidy - for a week ok. Old fashioned and with damp musty smell (there was an air dehumidifier) - we had to wash all our clothes after this week. Compare to our other cottages in this holiday the performance was lousy and the price we`d paid much too high.

Stayed Aug 22, 2018Lovely place/setting but the weather wasn’t kind to us, it rained for the whole time we were there, and it was very damp inside the cottage. Couldn’t get hot water so constantly having to boil a kettle to wash up. Only saw the owners as we were leaving, despite the promise of a call/visit to see if everything was ok. Probably wouldn’t stay there again due to the discomfort when weather poor. Would probably feel differently if it had been sunny weather.

Stayed Oct 20, 2017Great location, basic but comfortable cabin in peaceful valley. Lovely manageable walk to crackington haven which is brilliant for rockpooling, we love the cabin cafe for lunch. Can't beat chips and view at pub in trebarwith strand. Beautiful coast walks and boscastle farm shop is a must for breakfast. The hidden valley is great fun for kids and adults, we will get all six challenges next time! After great days out garyvoe cottage is a great place to put your feet up, open the large windows and enjoy a glass of wine a picky tea and listening to the river and the owls.

Stayed Sep 30, 2016WE enjoyed our stay in garyvoe cottage with our dogs. Set in a beautiful position overlooking woods, stream, big field. Enjoyed the walk to the beach through the owners land. LOvely to sit out on the veranda in the sun. With the big windows opened to the chalet. It was very clean and tidy . THe owners were very friendly
