Stayed Aug 23, 2025My wife and I and our two dogs had the most wonderful time staying on sunset lake. The cabin was super clean and cozy. Hiking trails are minutes away and restaurants and shops are nearby. Best of all is the secluded and beautiful Sunset Lake.

The cabin is a seamless blend of lake country atmosphere with many modern conveniences. The scenery is amazing and the spacious screened-in porch is a highlight.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025We had a great time with our 2 kids. The lake is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed this rustic lake house and rented a kayak which I highly recommend doing. The outdoor shower was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. A new mattress for the double bed would be great however we loved our stay.

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Paradise. Our family cherishes the opportunity to spend our August vacation at this lovely secluded cottage on beautiful Sunset Lake. We love to swim and kayak and especially enjoy the peace and quiet and the lakeside views from the large screened in porch. Hope to spend another week here next summer!

Stayed Jul 6, 2024The cottage is beautifully rustic and the setting is pretty private. Screened front porch is awesome! But the host is the best part (this year). Many things beyond his control went wrong and he reached out quickly to make it right. I look forward to trying again next year!

Stayed Aug 19, 2023Our family has the most enjoyable vacations staying at this very peaceful and rustic cottage on beautiful Sunset Lake. It is very clean and well maintained and we spend many hours on the screened in porch enjoying the view as well as swimming in the lake. The perfect vacation spot to relax and unwind while visiting the many nature trails and lakes region attractions.
