Seattle Carriage House, an escape perfect, for relaxing between World Cup games!

Our hosts are amazing, so friendly and thoughtful. The house is adorable and was so well accommodated for kids. We enjoyed staying here so much, its so central to everything we needed to do, and so comfy. I highly recommend this home to stay in, it was absolutely great and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A cozy cottage in a great location

Loved the home. We had five (two adults, three teens) and it was a perfect fit for us. We were not at home much but when we were home it was everything we needed. Pre-stocked with important essentials, parking was easy, amazing little court yard with chickens that gave us fresh eggs. Communication was perfect and kind. Great place to head south to downtown or north to for other great sites to see. Walkable restaurants, which is always a plus for me. Was very close to the highway and you could hear traffic at night, but it was just white noise to us.

My husband and I were taking our mothers on an Alaskan cruise and needed somewhere to stay for two nights pre cruise. We found this charming listing, I thought it looked like Snow White’s cottage, and then saw it had chickens and I was sold. What I did not anticipate was that the pictures did not do it justice. This is an extremely comfortable home, the owner has anticipated nearly every need and question you may have. There are little “how to” cards all over the house so you are never questioning how to get something to work. Our cousins came to join us for dinner one night, there was room for everyone at the table and their 12 year old son loved the upstairs kids nook, and to be honest, I sat in there to read too. The only thing I could complain about is it is near enough to the highway to occasionally hear trucks at night (sounded more like rolling thunder). But since I doubt the state would be willing to move an entire highway system, I wouldn’t hold this against them. The location is walkable to restaurants, but we did Uber to Pikes Market.We will definitely be booking here for our next trip to Seattle. It was a wonderful stay. Everything we needed with lots of interesting character, wonderful host communication and tons of sights to see close by.

Had such a fun stay at this place! The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful with addressing questions and providing recommendations. Place was stocked with all we needed and is close enough to downtown to easily Uber to and from.

Our family had a great stay here for 5 days. The location was very convenient to downtown areas, the ferries, and the university area. We loved feeding the chickens and playing paddle smash! Host was great and gave us everything we needed.

The house was well outfitted, close to bus stops and in a good walking neighborhood. The hosts were available for any questions or problems we had.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The house was very clean, had everything we needed to feel at home, and the beds were very comfortable. What really set this experience apart, however, were the incredible hosts. From the moment we booked, they were thoughtful and attentive, but they truly went above and beyond when they learned that my daughter was injured skiing. They were so kind and accommodating, even moving things around to make her comfortable and able to navigate in a wheelchair. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Spot on description of the property. Beautiful. Rustic. Chickens were great. Jill was highly communicative. Would rent this place again in a heartbeat. Just charming, simply charming.

We enjoyed the cottage which was full of character and history with all the necessary amenities and more. Adorable children's nook upstairs. Comfortable beds. Perfect location.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the chicken house. Jill provided so many amenities and we had fresh eggs whenever we wanted. The home was perfect for our week stay and we would certainly come back again!

My family and I(wife and 2 boys 3 and 6) stayed few days for a little getaway. Didn’t need much communication back and forth with host, but before showing up we had pretty much all information we needed. The boys absolutely loved the chickens and wanted to look for eggs as well as feed them every day….eggs were delicious! House is in a nice neighborhood area and didn’t have to travel more that 20ish mins each way to locations, one of them being downtown. Little courtyard area in back was fun to be in and let kids burn more energy off they had a little cornhole style game but kinda built for golf chipping but had beanbags as well which were definitely used…super plus that since I took golf clubs out of car for trip and didn’t have for the golf version I asked about a club and was handed a wedge within mins and got a few swings in which felt great. I would absolutely look at this place when going to Seattle again and would suggest it to anyone looking at a place to stay. Thanks again!

Look no further— this cute, cozy Carriage House is perfect! The house is beyond adorable and a nice mix of historical meets modern day. Everything with our stay was absolutely wonderful! We really enjoyed all the extra touches Jill has done and the amenities she’s added to make the house so warm, inviting and convenient. We also loved visiting with the chickens and collecting eggs each morning! The location is perfect and close to so many things. We definitely will be back to visit the Carriage House again!
