Scrimshaw Cottage - a charming, romantic getaway for a couple boasting stunning sea views.

Once again we’ve had a superb week in this delightful cottage. It’s always lovely and clean. Attractively decorated and furnished. Next to the sea and just around the corner for lots of shops and cafes.

A lovely cottage very well equiped with everything you could need for a great holiday. Only downside for me personally a shower would be more convenient.

This was our third visit to Scrimshaw cottage and we love the location. It is right next to the beach and close to pubs, shops and restaurants. There is a car park right next door which now offers weekly tickets but we unload and head for the streets which offer free parking. The cottage is perfect for two is great for a weeks stay.

We love Sheringham, Scrimshaw Cottage is the perfect place to stay, lovely accommodation, close to the shops, restaurants and all that we need for our stay.

What a fabulous little cottage! Absolutely immaculate and with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It has a lovely 'feel' as soon as you walk in, and is extremely comfortable from the sofas to the bed. The position of the cottage is perfect with everything so close by.. shops, pubs, restaurants etc, yet tucked away slightly. It was so lovely to be able to see the sea from every window and to be so close to it. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are fairly steep but there are only 7 of them and another 2 at the bottom going into the kitchen are usual size. There is a small car park for around 20 cars out to the side of the cottage which we used as we were there for 3 days we paid the £8.70 for 24hrs and nipped out to renew it, but as per other reviews there is plenty of free parking around if you want. We were there at the end of September but I imagine during peak season it would be a lot busier. We were very sad to leave the cottage and have every intention of re-booking for more visits.

Lovely cottage, great location. Definitely stay again. Everything we needed. Complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits. Some nice touches.

This was our 3rd stay at Scrimshaw Cottage and we love the location with its sea views. Some nice new touches since last time in the new kitchen. It is a perfect place to stay for two. The parking is not an issue as there is a car park next door but we park on the streets for free a few minutes walk away after unloading. I am sure we will be back

Brilliant cottage. Stay again definitely. Spotless. Central position and just by the sea. Owners kindly left a welcome gift of delicious chocolate biscuits and a bottle of red wine!!

First class accommodation in Sherringham which is a very clean and tidy town. The accommodation is only a few meters away from the sea front and close to all local amenities.
