My wife, two children (6 and 8), and I stayed at the Sandpiper in mid July. Our children loved the amenities this property has to offer including: local swim area with shallow, sandy bottom, fire pit with nice Adirondack chairs, and screened-in porch. This is a cozy unit with a pull out sofa and a queen bed and it fit us well. We love the Ludington area’s attractions and natural beauty! A great little place in a great location!

This cottage has a great view from screen porch. Location is great close to downtown. We enjoyed our stay and lacked for nothing. Hamlin lake is a beautiful lake to unwind from.

A very cozy welcoming cottage. It was so clean with alot of supplies. We loved the spacious bathroom with the tiled shower, and that we liked the games apples to apples it was pretty fun to play.

Warm, sunny midweek getaway in late September. Cute, comfortable cabin on the water. Sunsets a few steps away, and easily seen out the cabin window, close to beaches. Ping pong in gathering place. Best view of the water of all the cottages in this resort. Relaxing time!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Sandpiper. The place itself was very clean, well maintained, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The beach and swimming area were perfect for our kids and provided a great place for us all to relax after our daily adventures in and around Ludington. The hosts were very kind and responsive and we can't wait to come back!

Booked the Sandpiper last minute for a weekday vacation to Ludington. Stayed her with my partner and teen stepson. The listing made the cottage appear much smaller than it actually is. There was plenty of room for the three of us. We loved being able to sit on the screened in porch watching the lake in the morning. The cottage felt very private. We couldn’t hear the guests in the attached cottage at all. Charming details, very clean, wonderful bathroom, and good amenities like air conditioning. We did not spend much time at the resort because we were visiting family and spent our time with them but it looks like a great place for families. Easy check in and check out, communicative owner. 10/10 would stay here again!

This is the perfect little cottage for a lakeside getaway! It has everything you need for your stay, and then some. We were surprised to find beach toys and towels left for us, family games for us to play together, and an amazing shower that spoiled us all! It's very clean and up to date, without lacking any modern amenities, yet still feels like a cabin in the woods. It's nestled on Vacation Lane, like a picturesque scene from a movie. It's just minutes from several Lake Michigan public beach access points, and a short drive into downtown Ludington. The AC was more than sufficient for the space, which is important to us in the hot, humid summer. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What an adorable quaint cabin, at a great little village! First, the cabin! Decorated in just my style! Cute old style furniture, updated and amazingly large bathroom. Air conditioning was perfect. The village is so quaint. We loved speaking with several folks who have been coming here since they were kids, now bringing their families. The lake side view, with a small swimming area was great! I highly recommend it, and hope to come back ourselves. 5 stars ?
