Russell Cottage: Your home away from home.

Russell Cottage is a charming cottage that quickly became our home away from home. We fell in love with the town and the people. We especially enjoyed the friendly staff at the Islander Dive Bar, touring the Walter Anderson Museum (take the time to use the headphones), and shopping at Realizations. The cottage is an easy walk to Front Beach and the harbors, as well as the shops and restaurants. The home is clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed spending time in the fenced/private backyard, which was perfect for our dogs. We have already booked this cottage for next year and look forward to returning to Ocean Springs.

The Russell Cottage is extremely charming and comfortable. Location is perfect! We highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic location in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our morning coffee every morning on rhe porch. The house had a glorious back yard ro enjoy in the evening. Close to the beach which we. Went to every day. Close to town. House is very clean and homey.

Really cool cottage in a very charming town. We love it down here. The cottage is very clean, and gave us all nostalgia of times visiting Meemaw, especially the screen front door. Hosts are fantastic, highly recommend.

Amazing cottage!!! Comfortable, large rooms, extremely clean, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It has it all!! Additionally, it is furnished with everything you needed, everything you didn't think you needed and things you forgot. The cottage is the best furnished accommodation we have ever rented. A true 10 out of 10.

Great place! Convent to everywhere we wanted to go on our girls’ trip! Definitely recommend. Would love to stay here on our next trip to Ocean Springs.

We stayed for two days and had a wonderful time and the cottage was very cute inside and out.

Hi. This is an older home so be prepared for that. The showers are extremely low so plan on doing a mini-backbend. However, the house is as advertised and within walking distance to downtown. The beds have spring mattresses but were fairly comfortable. We brought our two dogs and were grateful the fenced in back yard. I only wish the grass had been mowed prior to arriving. I would stay here again! Enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay in the pretty yellow house. Clean, cool, and comfortable. A gorgeous pergola in an enclosed backyard—a work of art, really. A four-block walk to Walter Anderson Museum.

Beautifully decorated cottage, a few blocks from shopping was perfect for our girls' trip. We were so comfortable and loved this relaxing, quiet retreat.

Perfect stay for my grandson’s graduation. The cottage was very comfortable and just the right space for my husband myself and my daughter. Loved OS and the walk ability to everything. Definitely would stay again.

We fell in love with the Russell Cottage the minute we walked through the front door. It is clean, spacious and adorably decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with coffee every morning. We could easily walk to any place downtown or to the beach.

This is a wonderful property - lots of room, freshly remodeled , beautifully decorated and appointed. Very convenient location .Nice sized yard for a pet. Terrific host that set us up there and gave us the quiet and privacy that we were looking for. Hope they liked us -would like to return

It was all and more than I hoped. I couldn’t have imagined a better home, location or nicer place. We look forward to visiting the same home again soon!

Spent the weekend celebrating my best friend’s birthday and the house was perfect! Great location

My two friends and I had the best time at the Russell Cottage for our recent girl’s trip. The cottage is located on a quiet street away from the railroad track but only a few blocks from the action in downtown Ocean Springs. We are all in our 60’s and had no problem walking from the cottage to all the restaurants, shops and bars. The cottage is very well maintained and was extremely clean for our visit. The beds were so comfortable and we had plenty of blankets and pillows. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but it was clean and well stocked. The living room is comfortable and set up perfectly for us to enjoy our visit together and do our gift exchange. I had a problem with my VRBO app on the day of check-in but was able to call VRBO Support who helped me get in touch with the host to answer my question. The host was so helpful and friendly and I enjoyed our conversation. Ocean Springs goes all out with Christmas decorations in December and the downtown area is just beautiful! My friends and I agreed that Russell Cottage would be our go-to lodging for future girl’s trips and my husband and I are planning to book and bring our pets in the spring. Excellent location for anyone interested in a stay near downtown Ocean Springs.

The house was clean and comfy. The location was great, within walking distance to downtown Ocean Springs. The beds were comfortable. The backyard was fully fenced for our small dogs. I would highly recommend this house.

We loved this cottage! The location to the downtown area was awesome. It was perfect for four people. We loved every aspect of this rental. There were plenty of brochures and lots of hand written instructions for different things. We had everything we needed from coffee to extra blankets and even an extra fan. The back yard is beautiful and private. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Very walkable to downtown Ocean Springs but still away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The property was very clean and well stocked and organized. Excellent location to shops, restaurants and beaches. Quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly was a big plus. Third stay in Ocean Springs,best place,by far.

Everything was great! Excellent floor plan for two couples to share. The house was super comfortable and homey. Neighborhood was quiet but close enough to walk to downtown. Spent lots of time on the shaded private patio area visiting and laughing. Wonderful rental!

Great hosts, cutest little cottage with all the conveniences and even some you didn't know you needed....all within walking distance of downtown.

This was a great place for my husband and me to stay while visiting Ocean Springs and Biloxi beach. It’s within walking distance to downtown Ocean Springs and less than 10 minutes’ drive to the beach. We thought the kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear, and the rooms were SPOTLESS! (And I’m very picky!) We liked the outdoor gear—The beach chairs and umbrella were perfect for the two of us. We will stay again if we’re in the area!

Our stay was perfect! Our VRBO was better than the pictures. The location was ideal for downtown eating and shopping and walking to the beach. Hope to revisit the area in March. Our VRBO host made check-in and checkout very easy.

Adorable place. Only problem we couldn’t get the living room tv to work. Luckily we weren’t there much and the bedroom tv worked. But overall great stay.
