Room for The Family - Bowentown Bach

Its a great property this one, and its the second time the family has stayed there. However there are a couple of things that didn't work. The BBQ, one of the burners has completed rusted out. We love BBQing at that property. The other is the hot water. I think there might be something not working on the hot water cylinder. One day one we had some hot water but on day two, we had no hot water. We had to boil the jug to wash the dishes. Those are just minor things really, the consensus from the whole family is that we would go back in a heartbeat, we just love going there.

Very convenient for 3 generations of different ages to stay together. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, outside great for play. Being surrounded on all 4 sides by neighbours felt a bit close, otherwise proximity to beach and playground great.

The property was fit for purpose and it was nice that the whole seven of us could be accommodated in the one house. When we go away usually we are in two separate units so was really good to be all together and with six bedrooms nobody had to share (except the married couples!).

Enjoyed our stay here and there was no problems with checking in and out and we embraced the homely ambience that was present..... we will be back.

Awesome bach that was very nice, spacious and child friendly. We enjoyed the art and decor in the bach as well as all the homely fixings, as it was well equipped and had everything we needed. The location was great as well as it was a short walk to the beach, and provided a good base from which to do day trips up the peninsula and around Waihi. Would stay here again.

Was a perfect house for our multi family group. It is very clean and tidy and 5 minutes walk to the beach or to Tui Park playground. Lovely big backyard for the kids to play in (although the neighbours didn't appreciate us playing bat down in the backyard at 2pm as it was too hard for their toddler to sleep!! Our baby in the house managed to sleep through it). Definitely hope to be back again.

We loved our stay at this classic kiwi-style bach. It was wonderful to find a reasonably-priced place that could fit our large family group, and it was well set up with pretty much everything we needed to enjoy our holiday.

Very close to beach access and can hear the waves at night. Large, spacious house suit extended family or two families. Two bathrooms and toilets. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you might need. Large flat section.
