This beautifully decorated cottage was completely renovated June 2022 and is in heart of the National Historic District of Beaufort and only a 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants. The cottage is also close to Paris Island Marine Corps Station.

Stayed Jul 1, 2021The property was in a great location close to downtown Beaufort and easy access to main roads so that we could get to Parris Island in great time. However, upon arrival the house smelt of mildew, the shower was cracked and shower floor was soft and shifty. We had to keep windows open due to the smell. The gutters on the back of the house were falling off. The pullout couch bed had springs breaking through the mattress. Just not what we expected and paid for.

The home was just as described, clean and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d definitely consider staying here again the next time we’re in the area!

Stayed Nov 15, 2024Overall, it was a great place to stay for a quick weekend get away. One thing to note is if you are staying for a longer trip, there is no closet to store luggage or hang clothing. The bed was very comfortable, but we brought our own pillows. The location is an easy 10 minute walk to downtown shops and food. Outdoor space is very close to the next door house. Not too much privacy using that. We would recommend this place if you are looking for decent location and not needing a lot of space or amenities.
