Our daughter wanted to spend her 8th birthday in the mountains with snow and this cabin was the perfect place to do it! We skied at Beech Mountain, went tubing at Sugar Mountain and got to sit in the hot tub while snow fell down around us! We even got deer as visitors who slept right below the living room windows! We enjoyed our stay and the hosts have furnished the place with thoughtful things like a towel warmer, a record player and coffee bar! Very thankful for a washer and dryer to help dry out gloves and gators after skiing!

The property was beautiful. It’s light, airy, has huge windows and we were able to see both a bear with her two cubs and deer from the property. The hot tub was very clean and nice and if ever in the area in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We loved it.

Tucked away like a secret hideout, the cottage we stayed in was the definition of cozy. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like being wrapped in a warm, welcoming hug. The layout was thoughtful and flowed effortlessly, making the space feel open yet intimate—a perfect balance for relaxing. The soft grays that adorned the walls and furnishings managed to be both chic and inviting, proving once and for all that gray doesn’t have to be cold. Instead, it felt like we were lounging inside a cloud. The beds? Heavenly. The couches? Like sinking into a dream. And the new hot tub out back? Let’s just say it quickly became our favorite spot, and the bubbling water working its magic on our tired bones. Every little detail of the cottage was designed for comfort, and it showed. A heartfelt thank you to the owners for creating such a beautiful, serene retreat. We’re already planning our next stay!
