Romantic Berkshires Cottage - Stunning Views, Pool

We recently stayed at this lovely Berkshires cottage on Round Hill Road. The room was warm and cozy, with a nice kitchenette and a dining table. The views from the cottage were really beautiful, and we took several pictures. Since it was winter, we could not use the pool, but I imagine it would be even more lovely in summer when the pool would be open. I would definitely stay here again.

Blissfully quiet and peaceful. Owner was easy to communicate with. Appreciated the full sized fridge.

Tidy, charming, with a wonderful view.

We spent a pleasant three days in the area. There were many choices for hikes and restaurants, and we enjoyed good music at the Egremont Bar. The apartment was true to its pictures; the bathroom was clean and spacious, and well stocked. Many thanks to Frederica for her hospitality.Julia

The studio, set into the hillside below the garage, has an expansive view over the pool area and fields and hills beyond. Very beautiful and peaceful. Frederica is very helpful and responsive, and the studio has everything one needs. We were happy we had chosen this place, and would return.

The place was beautiful, a very nice place, cozy and quiet, ideal to rest and disconnect. Everything was very well taken care of, with details that made the stay even more pleasant. In addition, the owner is very attentive and always aware of everything, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great stay and I definitely recommend it. I hope to come back soon!

Beautiful property right outside of Great Barrington. We loved exploring the Berkshires and enjoying the summer days by the pool. Would highly recommend!

The hosts live on a lovely private road with the most beautiful Berkshire Views imaginableThe Garage is constructed like a bank barn, below the main garage the efficiency apartment is entered through a generously sized living/bedroom area there is also a small, yet very well stocked kitchen and full bath. Good coffee and a pint of half and half was a great touch for morning coffee!!!!. From the bottle of wine and ginger snaps upon arrival to the use of poles and snowshoes, Frederica and Efram were the consummate hosts. Their studio was private, quiet, and well appointed with everything that we needed (including dog bowls for our four-legged friends!). We had a lovely time in the Berkshires, thanks in large part to their hospitality. You won't be disappointed.

Frederica was very welcoming and was very helpful in pointing out local areas of attraction. The location was very clean and the views very serene. Very peaceful getaway. I would recommend without issue.

A lovely, private cottage with a beautiful view of the countryside. Very comfortable and cozy. It's great having a kitchen for not needing to eat out for every meal. Great walks are waiting for you outside the door. And there's a beautiful pool as well.

Frederica and Efrem have created a exceptional place to stay while visiting the Great Barrington area. The converted area below the garage includes a spacious, clean and well-appointed room with all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen. The grounds are exquisite. The pool is wonderful. And the location is perfect for an evening at Tanglewood or visiting surrounding towns. We travel with our golden retriever and her crate. Frederica and Efrem were most accommodating. This is a place we would return to without doubt, and which we would recommend without hesitation.

My wife and I stayed here with our dog Lily, as we celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. First time staying in The Berkshires. This was heavenly. The cottage was perfectly situated overlooking the mountains. And the POOL!. We loved it. During the day we would visit the towns-Great Barrington one day and Stockbridge the next. Afternoon was pool time! It was such a treat to be able to use it. It was a relaxing time. The cottage was perfectly roomy for the 3 of us. We felt comfortable. Great sleep after lots of outdoor activity. Frederica was awesome and we communicated many times before and during our stay to ensure all was good. And indeed it was. We would definitely love, love, love to return. Thanks so much Frederica and Efrem for letting us stay there. Very memorable!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this lovely property. It lived up to the outstanding reviews in every way. Gorgeous pastoral setting, tastefully decorated apartment furnished with everything we needed - and with a beautiful view. The pool was fabulous as was our host. She was very easy to communicate with and very kindly stocked the fridge with seltzers, water and coffee cream - as well as coffee and some other staples. She also provided a list of suggested restaurants close-by and some recommended walks- several of which were from the apartment. I can’t say enough about the setting- it is stunningly beautiful and serene. We highly recommend.

Very relaxing, bucolic location with an amazing view. Beautiful swimming pool and grounds. We had everything we needed in our guest house, and Frederica was a very responsive host. We will try to stay here again on our next trip to Great Barrington.

My husband and I, and our two dogs passed a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend in Frederica's cottage. The weather was incredible and we enjoyed the fresh breezes blowing up from the valley below. Morning walks were magical along the quiet road, with heifers and calves in one field and sheep and their guard dog in another. If you are a hiker, there are more trails of all levels than you could possibly do in a short stay (you just have to go back!). Food in the nearby towns was fantastic, and easy to get to. Frederica and Ephram are awesome hosts, and keep both the house and the gardens well tended. It's a really beautiful place to stay.
