Town: Whithorn is a small village on the south coast of Scotland with a rich history. The highlight of the village is the Priory and Museum with its beautiful setting overlooking the bay. The museum is dedicated to the study of the Priory, which was founded by St Ninian in the 5th century. The museum is also home to one of Scotland's most important collections of Pictish stones, including the iconic St Ninian's Cross. There are many cafes in the town including Central Cafe, which serves wonderful food.
