This property was great for our Girls Getaway to Highlands. Communication was easy and helpful! Getting in and out was a little tricky (being right on the road and a curve) but we just went to the business on the right beyond the house and looped around to drive into the driveway! Worked out great! The cottage was cozy and cute!
Property was just like Pictures. It is however located on a hair pin turn which was scary and noisy. Thank goodness for the chiropractor business where you can turn around. It was pet friendly but not pet safe. Would not recommend pets. Sun was great on porch for am but not afternoons.
We rented the cute cottage for two weeks. It was very well equipped. Very nice appliances. Excellent management. Wonderful large deck. Made one feel they were in a tree house. It is located right on the main road into town. Therefore, the constant traffic was very noisy. More so while sitting on the lovely back deck. Although there are 2 bedrooms, they are very small. And they both open to one bath. Hence, both bed- room doors open into the tiny bath. Not exactly convenient since the bath is so small and barely accommodates one person. Would I rent this cottage again? No But the location is great, and if your bathroom needs are not as important as mine, go for it.
The reviews mentioned proximity to the highway relative to accessibility and noise but it was VERY noisy and busy to enter/exit. The photos on line look great but when we entered, there was a mouse trap (in full view) in the kitchen and a can of Raid on top of the fridge. A blind in the bedroom was broken along with other items. Several bulbs were burned out on the light fixtures. The outdoor cushions were torn up and the towels smelled moldy. I killed a spider and three large ants in the bathroom. We did not feel comfortable eating at the house so went out for every meal-including coffee. We actually cut our vacation short by one night. The booking and check-in process were very easy. We’re hoping to go back to Highlands in the future but will definitely choose a different property. We have owned rental properties so understand issues but we also understand customer satisfaction.
We had a great time in Highlands hiking and looking at the waterfalls. The house we stayed is was very clean and it was just enough for us. The host Lin was great
Cute home only a couple of minutes from highlands city center. Nice deck space to relax after a day of hiking. Driveway is a little difficult as the listing states, but we never had any major issues getting in or out.
Great property would stay again.
The property was very nice. It was a great location and only a few minutes from town. The property manager was very friendly and replied quickly. The only issue we had was dog hair from the previous guests. The couch and linens were covered in dog hair and the linens smelled like a musky dog. We contacted the property manager and they were very understanding and offered to come by and clean. We were able to clean everything ourselves, but due to our inconvenience we were offered a later checkout time. Our stay was very satisfying overall.
Nice, quaint cottage. Great deck. Looked a little larger in listing narrative. While right on the road, traffic noise wasn’t too bad. TV reception was spotty. Really good location for getting into and around town. Overall, A-…. We’d stay there again…
This was a very clean, cute cottage. Very well updated. Ad did not indicate it was only about five hundred square feet. The back deck was adequate and very nice. There was so much underbrush I could never see or hear the creek. I would recommend this location if smaller areas are your thing. Close to town. Owner very friendly and eager to solve any problem that arises.
Perfect for 2-4 people/ family Close to Highlands, Cashiers and Dillard House in Georgia Great deck with gas firepit Very relaxing Owner excellent communicator!
