Loved the older cottage and location was perfect. I did not like that I arrived early and could not check in, even though the place was ready. I also did not like communicating with a BOT, who did not know the location of the beach access and who kept asking me if I needed more help even when I said no. SO the place was great, but bare bones, bring your own everything and the communication should be with a person...
We loved the location and the quaint style
Super cute vintage cottage with a killer view!! Quiet and perfect for a getaway!!
We enjoyed our stay, but $150 a night is way too much for a place with one water glass. Looking through the comments I see someone else left this in a review almost a year ago. Not fixed. The WiFi was very irregular, cable cuts in and it, there were no extra blankets and only small pans so dinner was cooked in batches. We accidentally opened the lockbox for a different unit before realizing we were at the wrong one, pretty frightening that our code worked. The beach was lovely and the room was clean but I'll stay at a different location next time I come back.
Loved the view and fireplace. Easy beach access was a plus. This cottage needs a deep cleaning but it was adequate for a couple of nights.
It's a nice quaint little outdated cottage, but cozy. The front door electronic lock was a little fickle, sometimes working mostly not. There were days when we just went off and left it unlocked since it wouldn't lock by code or button.
Would not stay here again. The code didn’t work to get into the place, the fridge was leaking all over the kitchen, it smelled like there was an electrical fire when the coffee maker was plugged in, we could only get the DVD player to work (no TV or Netflix) and the worst bed.
I wish my list of things I loved about this place was longer. It was as advertised, as stated above. I missed not having any windows that opened on the seaward side to let in the sounds of the ocean waves. There was a window that opened in the kitchen, which would have been great, but no screen. I loved sitting on the little balcony soaking up the ambiance. VRBO/Vacasa were up front about the internet connection, but that was a little frustrating nonetheless when wanting to get information about local sights and eateries. The cottage itself was acceptably clean. The location is nicely located for a quiet stay and pretty close access to sights in both directions.
was not as advertised, we stay 1night of seven
Amazing view, nice deck, convenient beach access and cozy gas stove. Please replace the loveseat with something comfortable (I have a backache now) and add another comfortable chair and more dishes (glassware, bakeware). Thanks!
Dog friendly, great view and clean.
You can see the big stump from the porch! There's also an electric car charger that I don't recall seeing mentioned. Free to use Level 2 charger available in both Tesla and J1772 flavors. I found that useful.
We love the view was perfect and quiet the rental management great to work with
This won't be my favorite place to stay at the Oregon coast...but loved the easy walk out to the beach, that they allow dogs and the great view from the balcony.
The cottage description on your website is an honest description of what you will find when you arrive. It is rustic, very clean, cozy and perfect! I will absolutely stay again.
This property was just what we were looking for. Right above the beach with a fantastic view off the deck. Private and quiet. Rustic and small but clean.
Proximity to beach was wonderful. Access was safe which was important. It was close to a relatives home across the street within walking distance away from HWY 101 traffic. The dog loved those walks. View was spectacular. The internet dropped frequently in the evening but not a problem for us. Fridge and oven were sufficient. Microwave worked. Sink was large. Bathroom was clean. Fireplace worked. We used it one evening to take the chill off. Access into the cottage was easy.
Enjoyed our stay!
Small, virtually no garage, dated, tiny, and no internet, phone service, or help. I called Vacasa and the lady was rude to me when I explained. She asked why we didn’t call in to report it? Well, there was no service so I couldn’t. She was very helpful!!! Not
The view is amazing, The spot to sit and watch the ocean for hours. Easy access to the beach. The cabin is rustic as advertised. We had everything we needed
The view was great. I love the dishes and utensils that are provided. Oven works great, definitely will be back again for many more to come!
