Our little cabin reminded me of summer camp the first time I saw it. The 'sleeping porch ' was hung with canvas roll up curtains. The cabin was built around 1930. It has been upgraded over the years. The sleeping porch is now the eating porch, with large double pain windows. We have left a few of the original divided-glass windows in other rooms, just to maintain the old time charm. The kitchen is small, with microwave, toaster oven, blender, stove/oven, refrigerator and coffee maker, of course. Recently the kitchen got a new cot of paint and change of color. We provide starter TP and paper towels. Guests have commented that the California king bed is very comfortable. There is a deck at the back of the house. The cabin is a cozy place for two people who want to relax in a quiet (pine tree) neighborhood, or hike the many trails in this area.
The cabin is one mile from down town restaurants, shopping, and our famous Whiskey Row. Prescott is centrally located if you want to explore our beautiful county. A photographer’s paradise with an average 360 days of sun and brilliant blue skies.
My stay for the month of August 203 was excellent from beginning to end. The location was good in relation to the city center (old Court building/Whiskey Row), Safeway nearby. Plenty of walking opportunities and a small park at the end of the street. Great cabin for one-two people, Owners were friendly and responsive.
A very interesting cabin in the pines! We so enjoyed this quaint cabin. Very quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed the daily visit from the deer. The cabin was very clean and had just the right amount of amenities to make it very comfortable. The hosts were there to greet us when we arrived and were very gracious during our stay. We will definitely be back for another visit.
I loved being there and hated to have to move! My dog had so much fun there too.
This place is cute as can be! It is bright and sunny, the back porch is delightful, and the small space is organized easily livable. Gerry and Kurt are friendly and responsive and keep the place in top shape. It felt like living in a cabin! The location is great—walkable to downtown, grocery store, and the park.
Enjoyable
I enjoyed the experience, owers were very friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the property for the price.
