Quaint 1932 Bissman Cottage Completely Remodeled, in Historical Downtown area❤

The property was meticulous and well stocked with anything that you anyone would need. The beds were extremely comfortable, towels and all other needs were supplied. The home was absolutely gorgeous as was the yard. Everyone was very comfortable and loved the time away. I will say that I stay at a LOT of VRBO's and this one was by far the cleanest and most well stocked.

Great, quaint home. We love historic homes and the areas they are in. This home is in a great Springfield location! It was close to our daughter’s home and gave us the extra space we needed for family over the holidays! The beds were very comfy.Bonus…It’s very walkable to the local spots and brewery which is a plus!

Great stay!

My daughter had a reaction to the detergent used in the house and the spray that was used on the furniture. I didn’t mind the spray but the detergent smell was strong. In addition the master bed slopes down towards the head so my husband had to sleep on the couch. Other than that it was a cute place and met all of our needs.

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage for our annual sister trip! Great location, wonderful amenities (especially complimentary coffee!)Dining table perfect for card games and dominoes, comfy beds , and perfect outdoor area for fresh air and visiting . Thanks much for sharing your space with us !

Property was great and perfect location!

This was our first time at the Bissman Cottage, and we were not disappointed. The house was immaculately maintained inside and out with exceptional furnishings. It's a perfect central location within a nice neighborhood. Our host (Cindy) was extraordinary in communicating and reaching out to make sure we were happy. We visit Springfield about 3 times a year, and we have found our new go-to place to stay. An absolutely delightful place to stay.

House was cozy and cute. Perfect venue for our family. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding-from out of town in texas! Farm table was awesome to do all the flowers. Beds very comfy, walking distance to cute bars and live music! Big fridge, more than adequate kitchen, nice gathering rooms-only one complaint—extremely hot bedrooms upstairs-to be expected for a historical home…but not easy to sleep with extreme temps.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was minutes from the tennis facility that my kids were playing a tournament at. The host was responsive and very easy to deal with. The beds were so comfortable. We would stay here again.

We stayed a week at the cottage. Everything was exactly as pictured online, with the peaceful fountain flowing at the front of the property. The old charm of the house made for a cozy and inviting place to be all week. The house is close to lots of great restaurants, groceries, shopping, and attractions. We would definitely stay at this property again!

The cottage was beautiful and decorated for Christmas which was unexpected but really appreciated. Everything was clean and functional. There's a little kid entrance to a kids sleep area which is adorable. Host was easy to reach, although we really didn't have any problems. Would definitely stay here again, esp during holidays with family.

The Cottage was a perfect setting for our stay. Everything was better then expected. Instructions for check in and check out was on point. Will definitely will be reserving this Cottage on the next visit.

We gathered in Springfield for a wedding. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had and was very helpful. It was a wonderful experience.
