This peaceful, beautiful haven is my favorite of 100s of places I’ve stayed. The home is gorgeous, showcasing Lake Superior in an amazing way. Spacious inside and out, thoughtful small touches make it like home, only better. 😃 The variety of outdoor spaces doubles the pleasure. We can’t wait to return with friends - they’ll be blown away!

We had everything we needed and had so much fun. Used the outdoor grill twice and had no issues. Saw a few ships as the season was just starting. The views of the lake are the best. Highly recommend!!!

The house is timeless right out of a magazine. So many great touches for hospitality. The views are spectacular. I would love to make it back some day!

absolutely stunning property. decorated with high end furnishings, absolutely incredible kitchen. fireplaces in all rooms. amazing views, unique stay. incredibly comfortable beds. would not recommend young children as the furnishings are so nice and light in color, i'd be worried about messes and stains! it's THAT nice. we were blown away. thank you pumphouse. absolutely wonderful!!

The care that has gone into renovating the historic pumphouse is amazing. It is bright and inviting and everything about it makes you feel at home. Anything you might need is right at your fingertips. The view of Lake Superior is what drew us to it to see the gales and we were not disappointed! Highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. We only left the home during our three night stay to walk three blocks to the grocery store. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook. We didn’t want to leave the beautiful home.

Had a wonderful getaway at the Pumphouse! The house is fabulous, the lake is so peaceful. Just what we needed.

It's our third time staying at this property and it never disappoints! It was our first time brining young kids and they loved playing in the water outside the home. It was also a short walk to Lester Park for some fantastic hiking without loading everyone in the car. We will certainly be back.

This is my sixth year staying at the pump house. It is so aesthetically pleasing inside and out. Never disappoints. Always clean stocked and beautiful.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our adult kids. All of us LOVED every minute we were there. The hardest part was leaving. We WILL be back.

I love soaking up the rays on the patio and having a campfire in the evening . Just a perfect place to get some R&R. You wont regret staying here.

This is our fourth extended stay at this property. We love it so much that we canceled a long planned trip to Orlando in favor of beautiful views and ultimate luxury. It’s like being on a luxury yacht without the seasickness! We love to be able to cook, relax, and play cards. It was a wonderful, grown-up vacation!

A quiet, cozy, winter getaway close to a yarn store! The Lakeside neighborhood has much to offer with it's shops and restaurants.

This home is amazing! It's exactly as advertised and is the cleanest home we've ever rented. The amenities are higher end. The views are incredible. I would definitely recommend this home to others. A small item to take into consideration would be to add a small chair or bench in the entryway to aid in putting shoes on.

The house and property location are beautiful and everything is as described on line. It’s a special place to stay in Duluth and was great for two couples.

This was our 2nd visit to The Pumphouse. Carin, our host, was easy to work with and responded quickly when we had questions. The cottage is decorated beautifully and is very comfortable. It has high end appliances in the kitchen and all the serviceware and cookware you’d expect. Being right on the lake is amazing. Great agate and sea glass hunting. Can’t wait to go back.

Over the top. From the coziness of the home to the close proximity of everything Duluth has to offer. Modern cabin with the peacefulness of Lake Superior waves hitting the shoreline. Cannot wait to rent again!

Amazing home on Lake Superior! Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces and was perfect for our weekend of a 60th wedding anniversary party and a bride and bridal party getting ready!

The PumpHouse is our Heaven and we look forward to our stay all year long. The house is gorgeous (better than a 5-star hotel) with all the needed amenities. To be at the lake’s edge is the best. We sit, kayak, swim and relax. Kids fish and explore. We watch sunrise and set and enjoy fresh air. It is truly our favorite spot

We retreated to Duluth to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with our two boys. The Pumphouse did not disappoint! If possible, even more beautiful than pictured. LOVED the higher-end furnishings and design. (So curious to know where Carin got all her lighting and couches.) Plenty of space for us to hang together or enjoy some solitary quiet time. We mostly lucked out with the weather, so sunny coffees on the deck to the sound of the lake lapping against the shore was an enchanting idyll. No details were spared. Even the guestbook was a work of art. Now my husband's obsessed with the fridge. Our first visit, but we hope to get back soon!!
