This lovely cottage is a private waterfront cottage, located on the mainland in Clayton. Beautiful view of the shipping channel. Screened in porch to sit and watch the ships go by. Central air conditioning. Private dock. Two bedrooms have full size beds, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Sleeps 6 persons . Max 6 persons. Large bathroom. Large yard. Walking distance to downtown Clayton. (1 mile). Rented by the week only in high season, Saturday to Saturday. No pets. No parties

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We have stayed here for 3 consecutive years. Wonderful cottage and location. The dock is great for fishing and swimming. Yard is large for our family gathering, games and campfires. We absolutely love this cottage and plan to return. Owner communication is great with easy check in and out.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025We have stayed here for a few years now. We love the location. It can’t be beat. Quiet, close to Clayton and a private dock. I will say, the home is becoming dated and old. Things need to be updated. Even though it’s clean, it’s just feeling old and worn out. We still enjoyed our stay though and Elizabeth is always a joy to work with.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025Lovely cottage! Everything was in perfect working order. Beds were very comfortable. Very beautiful view of the river from the back screened in porch. We sat out there every morning and evening. Got great pics of the wildlife. Very peaceful location.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Peaceful two weeks. Clayton is an enjoyable community in the summer. Friendly people, lively places to eat. We enjoyed the Clayton Opera House listening to the Irish Kings. We had a wonderful boat tour of the islands. Absolutely happy with everything. We will return.
