Private two bedroom cottage off Historic Highway 49.

The cottage was very nice and comfortable. Stephanie gave us so many recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores. Her communication was excellent and always responded to any of our inquiries immediately. The location was quiet and the cottage was well stocked for all your needs. She went above and beyond on thinking of what her guests may need. The king bed was comfortable and the location was convenient. We spent 3 nights there while visiting Yosemite Park. I would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Stephanie had everything we needed (and more) at the Sierra Sunset Cottage!New heating/cooling systems in each room made it comfortable and easy to adjust. We only slept in the king bedroom and it made both nights quite restful, plenty of closet space and nice light-blocking shades. The queen room looked nice as well, although it did not have a mirror for getting dressed. Kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and I appreciated the thoughtful items like a lantern and ice chest, lint roller and wine opener, make-up towelettes and even a toothbrush kit incase someone forgot theirs! A nice selection of books on the shelf along with the fireplace helped create cozy ambiance. Stephanie definitely thought of everything!The location was near town with good restaurants and other places to visit. If there was a hot tub to enjoy the nighttime stars, we would've probably never left!!

Our family really enjoyed the stay here even though it is between the towns. It is conveniently located for the west and south gates of Yosemite and the two nearby towns. we loved Idle Hours, and the Hideout Saloon (great food at both). We had all the space and amenities we needed to feel like home. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Lots of games, movies and activities. Great local details book, and my son most enjoyed the ping pong table out front. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Stephanie is incredible. She’s one of the best host I’ve encountered. She’s responsive, giving me recommendation and ready to help in anyway she can. Her place matches the description. Everything is spotless. My kids love the games available inside the unit. They also love swinging on the hammock outside. Her unit is also very cool with 3 split AC which make us relaxed after exploring Yosemite in hot days. Having a car parking with shades is a plus especially during heat wave like this summer. The house is also spacious and has everything that we need to stay as family of 4. Stephanie has also several stainless steel appliances to cook. My wife loves to cook with it. Overall we love and enjoy our stay. We’ll definitely stay at Stephanie’s place next time we visit Yosemite again. We highly recommend Stephanie’s place for those who want to visit Yosemite. This is a perfect location for Yosemite as you're equidistant from the south and north entrances. The extra touches such as tea, coffee, condiments, coffee to go cups etc really made a difference. We'd happily stay here again.
