The cabin was perfect for hanging out by the lake. The common spaces and bedrooms were ideal for our group. It's rustic but has everything you could need.

What a classic lake cottage. We couldn't have dreamed up a better place! Right on the ever-changing Cayuga, a short drive from all Ithaca and the beautiful wine country offers. I hope our 4-pack returns some fine day. And Jim (thanks!) made the whole experience smooth, mellow and inviting....

We really enjoyed our long weekend on the lake in early October. Although we were worried about the cold, the unseasonably humid weather turned out to be more of an issue. The cabin was very musty when we arrived and really needed to be aired out. We didn't mind the other rustic aspects of the cabin, but ventilation was really lacking. By the time that we left, three days later, it was much better and we wished we could have stayed for the rest of the week! I would recommend opening up the cabin a couple of days ahead of time, if it has been closed up for an extended time before an arrival.

The weather was not in our favor, but the cottage was. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. The road down to the cottage was rough, but we expected it, take your time, drive carefully, well worth it. I hope to do it again.

It felt like no one else was around! Very quiet spot on the lake. Lots of wildlife to observe outside, went kayaking everyday! The cabin itself is very rustic, charming and simple. Lots of old books to keep you occupied on a rainy day. The owners were very helpful with any questions and quick to respond. Would love to come back!!

Great place to get away and spend some quality time with family and nature. Jim is super responsive throughout the process, the cabin is as depicted, the view is even better than expected and the kids and dog were all sad to leave (but are looking forward to returning). Close enough to town and plenty to do in the area in case you need groceries (we prefer to cook at the cabin, especially since it's so well equipped), want to hike the Falls, visit the colleges, go to the Farmer's Market, see what's new at the Ithaca Children's Garden, etc. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
