Private Cottage on Lake George W/ Wood-Burning Fireplace, Lake View, & Fast WiFi

This year I had a lot of issues and none were resolved. I was very disappointed I’ve stayed in this cottage for the last five years I’ve never had any issues. This year I booked it for two weeks for a lot of money and I left somewhat unhappy

Location, location, location! Beautiful property and swimming area. Lakefront is one of the best! Cabin is well equipped and cozy for the Adirondack experience! A great environment for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

Stayed there with my husband, daughters, kids and brother for Mom’s 90th birthday!! Plenty of space and cute place!!!

Cute little place. Needs some updating. Bathroom kitchen faucets, ceiling fans adjusted or bolted down, curtains or shades in the LR/kitchen that was missing and a shade on the back door for privacy. Door was hard to lock too. And the fire pit we just could not get going. Place was lovely for the two of us we had a great time, just a few little things for the owners to update. Would def love to go back it was clean and bed was very very comfortable. Highly recommended for rest and relaxation which is what we had

We loved our stay at this cottage while visiting Lake George! The communication was great and all of our needs and wishes were taken care of! Comfy beds and perfectly clean cottage with grounds and views like no other. We are hoping to return next year!

My family loves this place and we are always comfortable. We’ve been there two years in a row and appreciate that they do upkeep the place and add little improvements over time. First time we went with my kids were 3 and 1. This year 4 and 2 so they enjoyed the bunk beds. The house is very warm and the space outside allows my city kids to run around.

Takundewide is a lovely resort. It is a very spacious well planned property. It has a beautiful sandy beach with a western exposure. Large sun decks over multiple boathouse are perfect for relaxing with an outstanding view of Lake George and amazing sunsets. The accommodations were good and as advertised. Air conditioning was a welcome plus that we were not expecting. The furnishing could be better. The cottage sleeps 7, we were six. The main dining table seats only four with only two chairs and two stools. In the silverware draw were only Four forks, one a salad fork. There were three mismatched plastic wine glasses. A high chair provided does not have a tray and is too low for the counter height table rendering it useless. There was a very musty mildew odor in all of the lower kitchen cabinets indicative of a moisture issue. There were no pot holders in the kitchen. These issues are all relatively minor and were quickly rectified with a run to Target. I point them out for the benefit of the property owners. A nice cottage in such a lovely setting should have adequate furnishings corresponding with the sleeping capacity. All that said, it is a great place with good accommodations. We had a fine time and would come back again.

Beautiful setting on Lake George. Perfect for a small family getaway. Small is key. The main shower is tiny....and so am I.

This well appointed free standing “cottage house” offers the perfect Lake George getaway. The home is charmingly rustic with full kitchen, comfortable furnishings, well considered sleeping arrangements with true master BR, three bunk bed room for kids, and ample charming loft with double and lots of room for games. The front porch is ideal for morning coffee to greet the day and a glass of wine to relax at at dusk. The Takudawinde property offers quiet setting, great beach for kids, and inviting double decked dock with seating for reading, contemplation of beautiful scenery, and meeting other guests.

Checking in and out was so easy. The place was very clean. Plenty of room for 5 people. The patio was a great place to hang out and the kids enjoyed playing at the little playground. Nice view of the lake. Not too far of a drive into town.
