Private beachfront cottage, WiFi and AC on Lake Paradise, minutes from Mackinaw

Wonderful communication! Spacious and plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen was great!! AC wasn’t the best and thermostat was not easy to set. Overall - was a nice getaway for us for a few days

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Check in was simple, and we had prompt communication with our host the entire visit. Loved the private beach and dock. It was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed fishing, as well as making s’mores over the fire pit. The bedrooms are small and stuffy—the AC doesn’t seem to extend to them. I reached out to our host with this, and she had a pedestal fan sent to us! Very kind! Appliances in the kitchen were pretty dated and would benefit from an upgrade. Shower wasn’t very hot. I think this place will continue to get better and better as the host makes updates. She seems to really care and wants this to be a special place for families to visit.

For more than a year my husband and I planned a family get away with our two adult children and their families. Due to circumstances beyond our control our plans changed a month before the originally planned trip. It turned out to be a blessing because we found this lakefront cottage! It was perfect for our group. My husband and I (Grandma and Papi) and our adult child's family. The kids were exposed to fishing, boating, biking on Mackinac, playing family games, cooking on the campfire... it was wonderful! We will be back. The host was quick to resond to all questions and was very accommodating. The property was perfect for our needs!

We are cross-country travelers and have visited all over the U.S. The Michigan peninsula area is one that we had not yet visited. This little lake cabin was just perfect for our first experience in the area. Such a cute, newly remodeled place, right on Carp Lake, just minutes from Mackinaw City & the ferry to Mackinac Island, and minutes from Headlands International Night Sky Park. Everything was so convenient and easy once we got here! We rented a boat for a day on Carp Lake and took the ferry to the island another day, and just chilled at the lake in-between. Emma, our host, was so very helpful and responsive to all of our questions and gave us great recommendations. Our first visit to the area did not disappoint, and our stay in this cute lake cabin definitely contributed to this great trip! We would definitely stay here again.

This property is beautiful; the cottage is newly updated and has a great outdoor space with lakefront access. The cottage had everything we needed in the bedrooms, kitchen and bath. It was quiet, pleasant and peaceful.
