Priolo on the Trail-Japandi Retreat w Nordic Spa

We enjoyed a beautiful winter weekend at this gorgeous cottage. Loved the snowy forest views and the thermal spa. This cottage offered the space, tranquility and comfort we were craving!

This stunning property hosted two families comfortably for a relaxing getaway to ring in the new year. Not only was the compund thoughtfully designed, it included evey amenity we were looking for. From the comfortable beds, living space and kitchen area, to the separate living area in the lower level that the kids absolutely enjoyed! The outdoor space was a perfect addition, as we were all able to enjoy the hot tub, sauna, and we'll equipped fire pit. The host, was quickly available when needed and provided a very warm welcome by leaving us a basket of goodies for all to enjoy. We would highly recommend this place!

Wonderful property! From the start we were so impressed with the cleanliness and the open concept design. Bedrooms and bathrooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. The open concept kitchen was ideal for cooking as well as a gathering spot. There was so much room to relax and kick back in the living and sitting areas and the game room got plenty of use, we had a blast! The outside amenities were amazing and we got so much use of the hot tub. Thank you so much for the outstanding week at the Priolo on the Trail!

The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and had everything we needed already thoughtfully taken care of. There is something for everyone, such as a luxurious hot tub, a rejuvenating sauna, and an invigorating cold plunge. The inclusion of classic board games, an air hockey table, soft-tipped darts, and an axe throwing game provided a diverse range of entertainment that kept the kids entertained and off their electronic devices. The beds were large and very comfortable. The additional beach chairs, beach towels, a convenient wagon, playful sand toys, and beach umbrellas were handy. Year after year, we come back to the Grand Bend area for our annual family getaway. This home has captured our hearts, stands out as our most cherished retreat.

Property is really great—the location, the amenities, the home itself, and the small details (they left us ice for the plunge pool, lots of wood for the fire, beach towels pancake mix as a welcome gift etc). Andy was super communicative and fast. Place was spotless, and very comfortable. I’d stay here again.

Clean, beautiful & functional. We loved using the hot tub, sauna, cold plunge & games room. The fires were easy to maintain and warmed up quickly. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee bar was great. Large BBQ. Great relaxing girls weekend. We didn’t leave the cottage the whole weekend as it had anything we could need and would love to come back for an extended stay.

Our family of 10 people were fortunate enough to spend the best part of a week at the property and loved every minute of it. The host Andy went above on beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The house was beautiful, peaceful, spotless and had ever possible amenity you can think of. The wood burning hot tub and sauna were amazing and took minimal effort to get going (and it was all part of the experience anyway). Location was great, only 5 minutes from grocery stores, beaches and national parks. Highly recommended, you wont be disappointed!
