Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a fabulous winter stay - we even had some snow! The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. It was lovely and warm and welcoming when we arrived. We appreciated the wood burner and settled down to read our books and admire the views of Beeston Bump. Parking was perfect and it was very easy to walk into Sheringham. We were pleasantly surprised to see so many shops open in Sheringham at this time of year, even on a Sunday. There's lots to do in the area. We'd love to return.

Stayed Jan 1, 1The house is within walking distance of the beach, the town, and the railway station, and in a quiet and peaceful location with a lovely view over the common and of Beeston Bump. The house itself is beautifully cosy and very clean and absolutely delightful. The stairs are rather steep, so may perhaps not be right for elderly visitors, but a stairgate is provided for younger guests. I couldn't fault this house; I really enjoyed my stay. Many thanks.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely quiet location with relaxing views and we enjoyed our walks into the town via the coastal promenade and a good work out up to the top of Beeston Bump. Plenty to do in the area for all ages. The only negatives were that there was some dirty crockery in the cupboard and cutlery very smeary/greasy - probably not checked after being dishwashed, the tv was quite a fudge and firstly managed to get one channel and on second day more successful after changing around the batteries (maybe could do with updating instructions as remotes not originals). We do look forward to staying at this cottage again.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Our first visit to Pop Cot - it won't be our last!! It is well appointed and equipped in a quiet backwater , but within a short walk to Sheringham's main shopping area. For visiting dog owners it's ideal - the large Common opposite is a great place for exercising and the Cottage itself has secure rear and front gardens. Lovely open aspect views toward the 'Beeston Bump' and at the rear, a large area of allotments. Very comfortable lounge with lovely large sofas and a log burning fire (although the central heating is very good!) and family sized dining kitchen. The owners kindly supply bedding linen and dreamily soft towels (so nice) It is a very quiet location, although facilities are close by. Easy car parking directly outside. We visit Sheringham frequently staying in these 'short term rental' accomodations; this is one of the best we have used - but keep that a secret....otherwise everyone else will find out!!

Stayed Jan 1, 1Cottage in a lovely place with views over the common and the allotments and in an excellent place for walks out over the Bump to the Runtons, up over the common into the woods and into the town and the beach. Had a lovely week and walked many a mile.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Poppy Cott was cosy and welcoming. The well-chosen pictures/artwork made it homely. It is in a lovely quiet location - views of the Common and Beeston Bump to the front and well-kept allotments to the back. Parking was easy. It’s an easy walk to both the sea front and the town. A great base for walking the Norfolk Coast Path.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was a last minute change of accommodation, which actually proved beneficial as the property is within 7 minutes walk of the town, station, seafront, buses, shops etc. Parking was excellent, parked up and left the car using local transport. The cottage is excellent, everything you need, the kitchen was well equipped. The outlook and location was charming facing Beeston Common and Beeston Hill.
