We absolutely loved our Bayfield ON cottage (PoplarWoods) stay. The cottage was beautiful, very clean, in a serene private setting, well equipped and roomy. The beds were comfy and upstairs bedroom allows star watching while laying in bed. Location handy and right in town but felt away from it all. Perfect! We hope to return in future and highly recommend this newer cottage and CottageStays.

Spent a relaxing week in a lovely, well-appointed home. Close to downtown shops and restaurants; grocery & liquor/wine store. Poplar Woods was very comfortable, with fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and leisure spaces, and a forested back yard. A great place to relax and unwind.

We enjoyed another beautiful week in Bayfield. Cottage stays made the process easy and met all our needs. Poplar woods was great and Jennifer @ Cottage stays was great to deal with and patient with all my questions. My family is looking forward to many great years here on our annual Bayfield vacation.

Jennifer's property was exactly what we needed for our wedding. We stayed in the cottage for five days over our wedding weekend and used it as our getting ready space for the ladies hair and makeup. The space was large, bright, and clean. I appreciated the black out blinds on the bedroom windows. The sunroom was an amazing feature for sitting out and chatting with friends. The only downside was limiting the cars in the driveway to three max. It was a little stressful when people would pop by I'd have to make sure we didn't go over the car limit. Other than that everything was great and I would definitely stay again.

Our stay was relaxing, peaceful and recharging. I was expecting the T.V. to be in the family room. It’s upstairs. BUT that was what made our trip. We talked we laughed we reconnected. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. The cottage is just beautiful. Has everything you need and more. I’ve rented a lot of cottages through the years and I must say this was the most beautiful. We planned to go to town in the morning and by the evening we were still at the cottage enjoying ourselves. We are also impressed with the contact and attention the agency made with us. I’ve never experienced the level they have to make sure your stay is going well. We will definitely be coming back. It’s great for families, couples, a girls weekend or just reconnecting with loved ones. Thank you!

A family of seniors enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at this cottage. Small soaps, coffee, chocolates and treats for our little dog were special extras that we appreciated. Lots of towels and facecloths were available and a lovely screened in porch was ideal for playing cards in the evening. A wonderful cottage for that was so enjoyable. Thank you.

We frequently visit Bayfield due to the beautiful clear blue waters and sandy beaches. Our stay at Poplar Woods was phenomenal. What a beautiful home. It is recently renovated and everything was in great condition. The home was clean and beautifully furbished. We loved it here! Thank you for having us!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed an extra long-weekend in this beautifully bright and modern house. We have been to Bayfield many times before and love exploring the town and the surrounding areas, but on this occasion, we found the house and private garden too enjoyable to leave for long. It was an exceptional break that provided peace and tranquility from our busy lives. We highly recommend!

Great family retreat that was beautiful and relaxing. Lots of relaxing activities - walking around the neighborhood, to the beach, Mainstreet shops, parks. Will definitely be going back!!!

Our trip to the “Poplar Woods” was a perfect getaway for the US Memorial weekend with friends. Driving top down to the beach and hitting all the familiar shops was topped off by the perfect cottage that offered upscale accommodations with a homey atmosphere. The setting was so nicely tucked into the woods, but not so remote that a quick easy walk to town wasn’t possible. Every possible detail was thought of and executed without feeling overdone. We will definitely return.
