This charming cottage is in a quiet but ideal location for visiting North Yorkshire. We found the cottage to be spotlessly clean to a very high standard with lovely decor throughout. This cottage has two narrow staircases (it has been two cottages knocked into one) so care is required if you have mobility problems. Just a few pointers if staying here.... the towels in the bathroom are rather small, so bring your own if you want to wrap up in a towel. Also you need to bring toilet rolls and soap/shower gel as there is not much to use. Can highly recommend The Plough at Scalby and The Farriers at Cayton for dining out. Would definitely recommend this cottage to family/friends who want to visit this area. It was a hidden gem!
