The Space:
Nestled into the natural Georgia tree canopy, this remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom open-floor plan home offers a welcoming retreat full of cozy nooks to lose yourself in a great novel or take a deserving nap after a long day of fun lake activities. We strived to create a space where you and yours can tune out the world and in with each other, and we hope that you find it as charming as we do!

Upon arrival, you will find ample parking for all your needs including a carport with (2) covered spaces. If interested, please reach out about the RV hookup! Around back, we have an expansive multi-tiered deck space with a large covered and uncovered portion that is perfect for soaking in the late morning and afternoon rays. Take in the stunning water views while indulging in a grilled feast or sipping a glass of freshly chilled bubbly from the outdoor fridge.

Meander on down the enchantingly lit steps through the trees to the dock. While the boat lift is occupied, there is plenty of space for you to tie up your watercraft of choice after dropping in at one of the many local launches. If simply floating in the water is more your speed, jump right into the 6 foot water off of the dock’s end. After cooling off, crack open a cold one in a comfortable adirondak chair while you stare across the glistening water. Our location offers the best of both worlds – the peace and quiet of a cove perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking to the estuary at the end, and wide-water views across to the other side. Don’t forget to bring your rods; there’s great fishing right off the dock!

The open floor plan contains two separate ‘living room’ seating areas including one pull-out couch, a dining table that accommodates 6, and a fully renovated kitchen with granite, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, and a large peninsula with seating perfect for serving family style.

The spacious primary bedroom is on one side of the house with a private ensuite bathroom. On the other side of the house you will find the hall bathroom, a second queen bedroom and a third bedroom with (2) twin XL’s. The second and third bedrooms both have walk-in closets to store your luggage while the primary has a large dresser.

Peachy Pines is a thoughtfully designed oasis perfect for couples and groups alike! While it’ll be easy to lose track of time enjoying all of the amenities, you’re also only a short drive to historic Milledgeville which offers restaurants, cute shops, and all of your normal everyday conveniences. By boat, you can get to the main channel and marinas in no time!

Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have about the property or the surrounding areas – we are more than happy to help!

We enjoyed our whole stay. If I may make a comment. There are so many spider waves and spiders. We did cleaned it up but I don’t know if you can do anything. We enjoyed our stay that we would definitely stay again.

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in Sparta. Greg and Brandon were wonderful and very responsive. The WiFi went out on us the first day. It was a county wide issue and completely out of their control but they kept us updated. We had some issues with the hot water and Brandon handled it immediately! They actually had a plumber come out the night before Thanksgiving to install a new water heater! That was amazing! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend them to be your host at this amazing getaway!

Overall, this house is nicely decorated and located in a quiet location on this beautiful lake. We enjoyed the water and sitting on the dock in the evenings relaxing and fishing. We brought our own kayaks and though there's not a slip to get them in and out there are places to tie up so you can leave them in the water once you get them in. The back porch is great, just know that it's directly under a tree so you might have to clean the furniture and decks before you can sit out there. It seems to be an older house that's been remodeled so be aware that some of the doors get stuck when fully closed. We couldn't figure out the audio on the TV. We noticed the fridge wasn't getting cold and contacted Greg. He is replacing the unit. We did have some issues with roaches and rats. We contacted the Greg and he assured us that the pest control company had been out prior to our stay and that he would have them out again to assess the situation. Hopefully this was just our luck since the other reviews are so positive!

We enjoyed our stay. We were caught offguard that there was no dishwasher. No worries though. We managed.

My family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay and the home was exactly what we were expecting. Home was clean, had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend, and the area was perfect for kayaking/fishing. Host was great with communication and check-in process was simple. We hope to book again in the future.
