This is our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, then this is your place! We love sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds of the Toccoa River. The cabin is very private with a well stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. WE will definitely book again!
Another great stay this cabin is our go to when coming to Blue Ridge. It’s close to all the downtown activities. We love how it’s off the beaten path and there is plenty of wildlife to see! We will be booking this cabin again in the future!
This was a nice home to spend a couple days. While parts of it were updated other parts were not; not a big deal but some of the house felt quite dated. Overall a great place to stay if you really want to go past the end of the map. We will consider a stay here in the future.
This house was absolutely beautiful! The river and the way nature surrounded us was just amazing. We will definitely be booking again! My only issues were the floor wasn’t really clean, as there was long, curly red hair everywhere. Other than that it was perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a much needed getaway for rest and relaxation. The house was just about perfect. We enjoyed fishing in the river, reading a book in the balcony hanging basket chairs, having a fire in the fire pit, and the hot tub on chilly nights. The only downside at first was the very bumpy rough road to get there but, after the first view rides, we got used to it. Would definitely stay again.
The location of the cabin near the river
This beautiful home was perfect for our weekend getaway! The home is well appointed and super cozy. We loved being right on the river and the location is very secluded. We will definitely reserve this lovely home again!
We loved this location. I’m glad I read the reviews and brought my own water for drinking and coffee. The water does have a strong sulfur smell. I can tell they are still improving the property as well. The basement has a tv, couches and half bath that isn’t shown in the pictures. It would be nice if they cleared out some trees and brush that blocks the view of the river. Luckily since it’s fall we could see better than it would have been in the summer. I loved that we were next to an empty lot for the power lines and we couldn’t see neighbors. It gave us some room to explore and fish. Over all the house is great and the couple of things I would recommend are very minor. A new coffee maker is needed, we had to take the lid off the pot while it brewed to keep it from making a mess plus it takes the cone filters rather than regular. Water pressure is doable but too low to use all the fancy shower heads in the main level bathroom. I also would like to be able to hear the river from the bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom had a note on the door to not open the doors because it’s hard to lock them back and the upstairs bedroom had a note to not open the windows. Over all I loved our stay and would stay again.
This cabin set up was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a good layout (we cooked a lot). The soft closing cabinets and drawers were top notch. I will warn you that the tap water has an unpleasant taste. Bottled water is advised for the coffee maker and drinking. The lot itself is flat and easy to drive/explore. The lane leading to the cabin is another story. We had 4wd trucks, so we were fine (never had to engage 4wd, but super thankful we didn’t drive our cars). It is riddled with potholes and several rough patches, though the closer you get to the cabin the more the lane smoothes out. The drive from cabin to Blue Ridge is about 20ish minutes. There is a Dollar General that you can get to in under 15. I recommend using Ingles over Walmart. Most fast food places had incredibly long lines/wait times and were drive through only. Carrol’s BBQ and Mystic Mountain Pizza were awesome. The shower water pressure was great and it had bomb lighting for doing make up. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a great time
