Peaceful Lake View Cottage, La Casa Resort, Okanagan Lake

The cottage had everything to make out stay comfortable and enjoyable including a well stocked kitchen, large dining room table, cozy living room area, comfortable beds, more than enough towels and extra blankets. (The only reason I did not give a 5-star review for cleanliness is because the cleaning staff did not remove the (used) bedding on the hide-a-bed from the previous guests.) Other than that the cottage was very clean, bright and well-kept. We liked the location as it provided a wonderful view of the Okanagan and we could sit out on the deck in private and enjoy the morning sun. The resort itself is very nice however we would recommend renting a golf cart as we did to get around as it is very big. The store was much better stocked than we anticipated, including take away food which was nice for a dinner in. It too has a good variety of 'beverages' and a nice restaurant with good food. The beach area however is very small and rocky (bring your water shoes). We were fortunate during our stay as it was low season so had no difficulty finding a chair to sit and relax by the water but if the resort was busy quite certain it would be very crowded. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend both the cottage and the resort as a wonderful get away destination. I too should mention our host Normand was very responsive when we had questions and provided us with much information that helped make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely consider returning.

Our stay was easy start to finsih. There were great amenities. Normand made it so easy to book and relax!

Cute little house but would have like the following:1. Fridge wasn't turned on and it took a day or so it to start up. Which was a big deal since we travelled for hours with coolers.2. We barely had one towel each which meant we had to do laundry everday. It would be nice if there were some beach towels provided.3. Other VRBO homes we've rented had some lawn chairs and beach towels for us ( this is a would be nice).Other than that, we had a nice time.

Our stay at this property was overall very good. TV unit is too old and it was much better if there is a smart TV.

The view from the deck is amazing!! Norman was great to deal with and the property was clean and well maintained for our needs. The only thing I’d say that’s a bit of a pain is the garbage. Having to haul it in a car is not ideal especially when there is nothing close to the house.

We really enjoyed our stay perfect place to for our holiday getaway. 100% satisfied.

This property was absolutely perfect for a group of 6 adults, including 3 seniors and one young adult.

The road to La Casa is a long and tough one but the property is fantastic. Many amenities to keep us entertained and the staff are great. This house had everything we needed and Normand was very responsive.
